All My Sons Moving has a F rating with the BBB for a reason unfortunately I didn’t find out until too late. I scheduled my appointment with them on the 12th of May to move me on May 26th Memorial Day Weekend. I usually use Two Men and A Truck because of their exceptional service, ethics, and reliability however, they weren’t available so I had to go with All My Sons. Before the move, they slipped in another fuel fee which is 10% of the total bill. I was told hen I paid the deposit the move would be after 12:00 p.m. I called the company around 3 p.m. expressing my concern that it was approximately a 2 hour move, the drive from my current address to Indianapolis was another hour, and to unload will be another 2 hours. Carlos stated that he would ‘try’ to get someone out to move me that day.
At 5:06 p.m. Carlos called to let me know that they would not be able to move me on my scheduled day. They moved it to Sunday. When I stated that I was disappointed that they forced me into a move on Sunday. He made sure to state they weren’t forcing me to take Sunday. However I didn’t have any other options. I couldn’t call another moving company to move me at 5 p.m. on a Saturday and I couldn’t get movers to come on Monday because it is a holiday. When I expressed these things to Carlos, his response was “I don’t know what you can do. All I know is we cant move you today.”
At 5:24 p.m. I called All My Sons again and spoke with Carlos, requesting that he send me an email to confirm they changed my move to Sunday May the 27th. He refused.
Later that evening he called me to say he was cancelling my appointment. He didn’t feel comfortable moving my things because I said I would rate them on Yelp and Google Places. However as a consumer I have the right to rate my service whether it is good or bad, which I usually do.
The odd thing about All My Sons is when I told then I usually use Two Men and A Truck they were quick to slander them and insult the quality of their work however they have a A rating with the BBB and All My Sons have an F (44 complaints and all of them unresolved.)

In summary this a review about thieves. Just a week before Xmas 2015. All My Sons was hired to move my father's property from CT to Rhode Island. At first , it seemed pleasant enough though their inexperience at breaking things down was very apparent and I had to lend them a ratchet set. Still the items were loaded and unloaded without a hitch till the dust settled and apparently that things that shouldn't have been touched were missing.



I decided to contact Amanda who sent these boys to us at their office the next day. I wasn't calling to make wild accusations or get in a heated conversation. It was to inform them that they should keep a close eye on these boys. Instead Amanda went into a fit ! Saying we stand by our boys ! That the items that were missing was our own mistake.! On and on she went , not even bothering to listen to any part of our complaint. Her final words if you had a problem call the cops, we cooperate with the police !



Fine. So a couple of days before Xmas we went to the police. A criminal investigation was started. The items stolen amounted to 1500 dollars. Problem is a criminal charge is hard to substantiate unless they are caught in the act or it was recorded. Police were going to do their job but a positive outcome was going to be difficult unless one of these boys confessed and looking at the other reviews , clearly posted about this company, they are quite experienced criminals.



So you have to ask yourself a couple of questions. If this company, All My Sons, provide you a good rate to move your items. Do you want to be the person that is totally on top of them making sure that none of your items are accidentally taken. And if you do have them move your stuff and come upon a problem do you want to contact the main office that blindly denies any wrongdoing and whose ideas of customer service is pathetic. Going thru any move is dramatic enough , do you really need the added frustration of dealing with a company that is untrustworthy ?



Finally, that ratchet set that i gave to help those boys break down some items was not returned. Merry Xmas to us.

With out a doubt the most unprofessional company I have ever worked with.They promised to move me, I got a conformation e-mail..then I had to cal them to find out where they were, they d=told me they were not coming.I had to cal them,they would not give me an alternative date to move,they cost me a lot of money and time.I am going to report them to the Indian Attorney general fro Fraud and Preditory business practices.I should have checked them out..my bad

I called this company back in February to schedule a move for May. The day before they called to get a 100 deposit which I was told nothing about in the initial booking of their services. I was also told that they would be at my apartment to help me move between noon and 4 in the afternoon, they didn't show up until 9pm that night and that was after several phone calls to their office. The office manager is rude and a bully, and overbooked his staff so that not all the jobs get done that day. when a crew finally did show up, they told us that they only had an hour left to
work in the dayso we helped them move in order.to get it done faster. te crew was nice and undersyood why we were so upset over the whole thing. the crew that came was nice and if it weren't.for them I would probably sue this company. DO NOT USE THEM, THEY ARE AWFUL, YOU WILL REGRET IT. THEY WILL SCAM YOU AND TAKE YOUR MONEY. TWO MEN AND A TRUCK COSTS MORE, BUT THEY DELIVER ON THEIR WORD. ALL MY SONS SUCKS.

I was not there for the pick up or drop of but my sister said they were professional and kind. I was happy to have it all there for me when I was able to get to the new place. They did it in the scheduled time frame and everything is in perfect condition.

GREAT GREAT GREAT! They did not disappoint me in any way. All of the items they moved for me are in the same condition as they were when they picked them up.

They treated my things well and always used caution when necessary. I watched them very carefully when the y were loading it all and never saw anything that would make me worry. Even after 3 weeks of storage everything arrived in great condition and at the scheduled time and location.

Very happy! I must say they have made this the easiest move in my life. I was ready for them when they showed up right on time. They had the truck downstairs and ready to go. Most everything was boxed and they wrapped my furniture as well before packing it all away for the drive. Everything arrived in Chicago the following day and I had everything in my new place before nightfall. It was very simple for me, nothing got broken and it happened fast.

Ok, so I have been reading all these bad reviews about this company. All I have to say is if we had to move again I would call them in a hurry. I called and booked them the day before the move. Last minute I know, but it was an emergency move. Anyways, they were very helpful on getting things set up. When the dispatcher called the morning of the move he said that he was still looking for a truck and a crew for us. He was very honest in the sense that he didn't have anyone yet. He did however get the crew and truck set up rather quickly. We were quoted 5 and 1/2 hours at $119.00 per hour. They were there and done in 4 hours and 15 min. I would like to thank the three guys Paul, Kevin and Mike for coming in on their day off to help us get the job done. I say well done to the company and a BIG thank you to the actual movers Great job guys!

I wish you could give a 0 star rating. I have had other companys move me and my family.. This is the first company that moved my family and STOLE from them. Now they will not answer any phone calls or anything. They were also late!! Suppose to be here at noon got there at 2:30. Quoted at 109 for 3 men pr hr. Charged 550 for 3 1/2 hrs of work. Slow Slow Slow.. Milked the clock for more money!! Not only did they take their time they didnt successfully load all of our stuff. They also brought a smaller truck then what we contracted them for. We also filed a police report for this incident! We contacted them and asked for a list of employers who worked for our move and they gave us 2 names. The 3 name the only information they could give us was his name was "Golden" and they didnt have any information on him because he was new! Is this the kind of company you want moving your stuff. Where they don't have any information on they people moving your stuff??? My family will never do business with them.

I made the mistake of judging this company based on online reviews that must refer to another franchise. This company is terrible. If you google them you will see numerous complaints and I have never felt eager to add myself into the online fray until the ridiculousness of this move. I moved with them from Indy to Boston and suffered damages, tremendous stress, huge overpayments, and the loss of many possessions.



They “had” to deliver early (though I would be out of town and the apartment under construction): they had only ONE driver who did long hauls and could drive in cities (what?) If they didn’t do the drop off that day they couldn’t say when it would happen.



Guess what? That ONE guy – the reason we did the move a week early – didn’t show! He sent his cousin to do his job for him. He arrived late and locked his keys in the cab and spent until 1:30 or 2 PM trying break into his truck with a coat hanger.



We were missing boxes and furniture, including a piece that was on the van but the driver claimed he didn't have. They lacked the manpower to get it up the stairs and left it on the street. They overcharged my brother and did not live up to their agreement to put together furniture.



We have spent a month trying to get this straightened out with them. Such a pain!

All too often we hire someone to perform a service and have high expectations of the delivery only to be disappointed. Imagine my delight when All My Sons Moving and Storage actually EXCEEDED my expectations! They were on time, dressed appropriately, neat, presentable, and can you even believe it - friendly! Cheers to a company that finally understands that moving is stressful! They did all they could to make this a simple and easy process for me and my family. They had extra boxes, tape, pads...they were OVER prepared. I am pleased when a company delivers what it promises but All My Sons did much much more than that. Thank you for making moving easy - I can't even believe I am saying that! Keep up the great work. The other companies need to step up their game to catch up to you! Get ready for a flood of business because I'm not recommending anyone else from now on!

I have moved over 10 times in my life so I know the stresses of relocating... and I have to say that All My Sons gave me the best mover I have ever had. I am not one to normally get online and write a review about a company, but I would have felt guilty not publicly thatnking the 3 young men that moved me out of here. They were nice, curteous, and fantastic movers. So... with that, thanks Woody, Dave, and William!!
