Professional, honest dry cleaner who has handled all our dry cleaning for over 10 years with excellence.

My work attire through the years, not too mention the occasional suit and tie event my Profession held, requires that I wear neat, clean, and well-pressed clothing. A sign of respect for my former patients, as well as my current clients and customers.
As a result, I have utilized various Dry Cleaning Services for many years, in many cities and towns throughout the six states where I have resided.

When I moved to Independence 3.5 years ago, for the first year I returned to the Dry Cleaner in Shawnee KS, whose services I had been happily utilizing for several years. Then the business was sold.
So I started looking for a new Dry Cleaning Service around the Independence area in earnest. I tried most of them with little success. Most were at best so-so, and a couple were terrible.

Then a year and a half ago, I discovered James and his VIP Cleaners!

His work has been excellent without exception. "Organic" to boot!
He even restored a very good shirt, one that had been ruined by another dry cleaner, to an acceptable wearable condition.
I even once made use of his apparently longtime policy of, "in by 5, out by the next afternoon". It saved the day!

VIP Cleaners is amongst the best I have ever experienced throughout my many years, and is definitely the best in Independence, MO.

This place is the worst cleaners I have ever been to. They gave me the wrong suit jacket (which was too large and riddled with holes). When I told them I was told to get out of the store. I will not use them again and I recommend no one else does either.

Reprehensible conduct from the owner. I stopped into the store on dec10 to inquire about a lost shirt from my previous visit, the owner was immediately defensive, rude and discourteous. Despite having a reciept for both the shirt and the service he told me he does too much business to worry about one shirt and that his system is perfect with no chance a shirt could be lost.
