From what im reading - this place is much a do about not much. Definitely there's waay better and definitely more 'authentic' - just havent tasted much since leaving TX 3 years ago. .

This was my first (and last) visit, the cashier made me pay up front, (after telling her i was eating in). The mild red salsa was (so) 'mild' you could barely tell it was salsa. She never asked what kind of taco i wanted - just charged me for a steak one. The address on the receipt says a completely different street address than the one above. Just a total waste of time and money - won't be going back.

My very first review ever! I was nearby shopping and used Yellow Pages to find a nearby Mexican place to eat. This popped up and all reviews were rated a 5. So I said "it's gotta be good then" to myself. I came in a few minutes before opening but the gentleman was nice to open anyways. This place is great! I ordered Street Tacos and they were delicious, especially the steak. I will for sure be coming back when I'm in the area. Might even go out of my way to eat here again! Staff was so nice too!

Love their tacos. Dang they give you a lot of food. I ate there for the first time after buying a mattress across the street at American Factory Direct Furniture and the owner Dave told me to try Queen Taco out for their chicken tacos and man was he right, they were definitely delicious. Keep up the great food guys

Yummy! First time visiting Queen Taco. Loved it. Simple, cheap, tasty, fast, great salsa bar! I had a crispy chicken taco and a soft taco al Pastor. They don't have a taco Tuesday special - special prices on tacos are Friday ($1.50/each) and Wednesday ($1/each) - tacos are just $1.79 regular price. A one pound burrito is their Tuesday special ($4.50). and they have all you can eat tacos for $8 anytime.

Authentic Fresh Mexican Dishes

This is the best Mexican food restaurant in Independence. I absolutely adore this place. They have over 10
different variations of the taco, and most are only $1.50 - Deep fried ground beef and shredded seasoned chicken hard tacos. then there are the carnitas, pastor, barbacoa, steak, pork, grilled chicken, shrimp, MahiMahi fish, Queen Tacos. They have the best enchiladas, burritos, chimichangas, tortas (Mexican sandwich stuffed with your meat choice), unique dips and homemade fresh salsas. I can go on and on about this place. Large portions at an inexpensive price... VERY AFFORDABLE. It's family owned and operated, and everything is made fresh to order every day! I'm only one of their regular and faithful fans!!!
