I've been eating Poppy's since the 80's when they were close to the KC Public Library. My friend's mom would take us to the library weekly, and we always made sure to have a little cash for a sweet treat. My favorite is the raspberry filled that is sugar sprinkled, but the chocolate creme filled long john is pretty amazing too. I can hardly eat any other doughnut without comparing it to Poppy's. Yummy!
