Great cinema for the location and price after the upgrade to digital movies. The quality is much better.

Location does not open the doors on time for the current showings during the week and the phone number is a fax number. There is no other way to get in contact with someone to let them know of the issues and this has turned away customers, one in which I have witnessed outside of the cinema and stated she will not be returning.

Four theaters, easy access, clean, courteous, current movies, good seats, quiet audiences, close to walk to restaurants and attrations.

so neat and tidy, the people are nice, not overly crowded, and simply a great place to see a show!

This place itself is a National Treasure! How many theaters show cartoons before the feature film anymore? I love it! Also, they actually clean the floors between shows -- no stepping on popcorn as you find your seat. And you can't beat the price for first-run movies. It's like stepping back in time -- in a good way! I give it two thumbs up!

I live in Independence but rarely explore the local attractions. I actually had a friend say "why don't you take the kids to the movie on the square" To my surprise it was cleaner, CHEAPER by a landslide and they still had new movies. It also was not packed with people. My kids and I had a whole row to ourselves. I suspect this would change if word ever gets out. The movie theatre was very charming in decor and had an old movie theatre style theme. We loved it, we will go back many more times!

I like it because it is close to my house and it is cheep and doesn't look dirty.
