Called on a Sunday; fan stopped working; tech came out in a timely fashion and replaced the broken part but didn't check anything else; Monday called them again to let them know it still wasn't cooling; Tech came back and put coolant in the system. My issue is this...I was charged a 2nd service fee when I feel they should of check checked out the coolant and stuff while they were here fixing the unit; thus, would have saved me a 2nd service fee. When I tried to pay my bill the following Saturday; no one answered, no biggie, then I get a call back and when I said I just wanted to pay my bill the lady on the phone said I had to call back on Monday.

I would be glad to give them a 5-star review for their services, however, their billing practices are not honest. We had to call a plumber this past Saturday for emergency work. I agreed to the hourly rate of $115/hr.

After services were rendered, I was provided an invoice and paid with my Visa. After later reviewing the invoice, I noted that the labor hours charged were too many and we were overcharged for the services provided.

I contacted their office. Their reply was they 'applied a credit on your account which will be available the next time we perform a service call for you'. I have no intention of using them again, as they should have had honest and accurate billing / invoicing in the first place. I've requested a refund to my Visa, their reply is that according to their 'policy' that they only 'apply credits to customer's accounts'.

I'm now responsible to take the financial loss for their invoicing and billing mistake. I'm out $60 for services / hours that were not rendered to me. I will not be using them in the future. It seems a shame such a small issue can't be properly resolved... my family has used E&M for many years... because of this one experience, I will never use them again.

I have always used E & M and have never had a complaint about them. When I call they come out as soon as possible. Their prices are reasonable/

I called these guys to snake a sewer for me. Hours later and 2 plumbers out, they tell me my sewer line is broke. Scott tells me it will cost $2000 to replace. Which I did not have, so 2 wks later I had part of the sewer dug up, that cost $200. My sewer line was in great shape with no breaks in it. Imagine that!!! My sewer was cleared by another plumber for $70. E&M still are trying to charge me over $160. No services were rendered by them at all. They are incompetent and the owner Robert Nielsen cares so much about his business that he will not even return a call. STAY FAR AWAY FROM E&M PLUMBING!!!! THEY HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THEY ARE DOING. I AM SURE YOU WILL HAVE A BROKEN SEWER LINE ALSO. They are just a horrible company and have no customer service skills (or plumbing skills) at all.
