I hated the service and the food is average, can get better at a grocery store bakery

I have always ordered all of my special occasion cakes at Paris Bakery in Arlington for years, but since i work close to Vie, i figured i'd try their cake. I placed an order over the phone for a birthday cake with the size of 8x8, fruit filling, and mocha icing. The lady quoted the price of $34 and no extra charge. I even confirmed my ordered multiple times and she continue to say $34. I thought the cake was pricey because Paris Bakery only charge $24.50 for a quarter sheet, but i figured it'll be a new experience. When i picked up the cake, they charge me an extra $2 for fruit filling. I wasnt very happy about it but I paid it anyways.

At the party, when the cake was cut, i noticed there wasnt any fruit fillings!!! I even checked several slices to make sure they just didnt put a good amount, but my eyes weren't wrong, there really wasnt any fruit fillings!! I am absolutely dissatisfied with their service. First, they misquoted, then they didnt give me what i paid extra for. Needless to say, this will be my FIRST and LAST time going to Vie. I'll be going back to Paris Bakery where the price is not outrageously expensive, and their service is outstanding.
