Dr. Walker did surgery on my right hand. He is an awesome Doctor. His bedside manner is the best. His staff is excellent. I highly recommend Dr. Walker.

Today was my first visit with Dr. Walker. He administered a cortisone shot (my first one ever) and honestly I have to say I was a little nervous about it. It wasn't near as bad as I had thought it would be and I know if I have to have another one, I won't dread it. Dr. Walker is very easy to talk to...he explains everything and I know whether the cortisone shot(s) work permamently, or if I eventually need surgery, that he will take care of it.

I see Tonya Staats, the Nurse Practioner. She is the most wonderful and caring physician I've ever had! I am in her top 3 patients for difficulty of administering cortisone shots. She gets more upset than I do if my hands don't cooperate or she has to dig longer to sneak them in my joints. She's blown a vein twice and you'd think she'd killed me. Very concerned, passionate, and knowledgeable! I'm SO glad she takes care of my hands! Highly recommend her to anyone in need of a hand specialist!

Not only is Dr. Walker the most skilled hand specialist in the Huntsville area, he has the best personality and bedside manner. Dr. Walker truly cares about his patients. I recommend him highly.
