I needed a spare key for my Kawi Vulcan Classic 1600. Since Blair is near where I live it was the logical choice. I went in and there were two staff working, one was helping a customer on the phone and the other was helping another customer in the shop.

In spite of the phone conversation, shortly after I walked in he acknowledged me and said someone would be with me shortly. Given the depth of the conversation, the serviceman on the phone seemed to have been on there for a short while. Still, he provided a level of excellence in customer service that is far to rare these days. He patiently walked the person through various options which included referral to another locksmith for a specific service that might be a better option. He then exchanged numbers explaining that he would be out of the shop for a while and wanted the customer to be able to contact him.

The phone call lasted probably 10 minutes while I was there. When he finished the called, the other customer in the store commented on the serviceman's patience and customer service to the customer on the phone.

There was a slight challenge locating the blank for my key and both servicemen, now free, assisted. The first blank didn't work, but the second fit all four locks like the original key. When I attempted to pay I was told no charge because of my wait. In my opinion, my wait wasn't unreasonable, so I was totally surprised by the consideration shown, but even more, appreciative for the outstanding and quality customer service.

I strongly urge those who need keys (bike or other) or other locksmith service to check out Blair and Sons. Call before you go to be sure a serviceman will be in the shop.

Needed a key for an older used car, they didn't have the FOB available, but made me a key for free so I would have a spare in the event I locked the ignition key in the car. And made sure it worked!

My wife lost the key fob to her car. Called Blair and Sons, they ordered me a new key fob and cut the emergency key. Very helpful and reasonably priced.

Excellent. I brought my ninja 650 in because I lost the key when we moved. I dropped it off at about 8:15 and I received a call by 9 that they were done. The price was $100 less than the conpetition. After they told me the price, I asked how much they would charge to cut a spare, and he had already done it for me at no charge. I will definitely be use these guys for all my locksmithing needs. Very unprofessional and tend to get amnesia when you have been in there 3 times to get help. Armor lock and key is the only one who could and would help me. These folks wanted me to tow my vehicle to their shop to work on it (what??) and they lost, or said they lost my Saturn key from the mfg which is not a cheap, off the shelf key. I was surprised that they were hateful and snappy at me when I tried to get my key back. Some businesses don't give customer service anymore and this is one of them.

The staff was very helpful over the phone and in the shop. They told me what to do to see if I could get the car to start one last time and I was able to drive the car to their shop. They fixed the car ignition and made another key as well.

Both my family and I have used them before and they have done a good job with each visit. The price for the work was reasonable. We plan on continuing to use their services in the future.

Absolutely unprofessional. Called on two separate days to try and get them to cut & program a key for me and both days the answer was, "The guy who programs the keys isn't here". Finally went to the shop in person (which was a mess, by the way) and it took them several minutes before anybody even realized I was there. There were several employees outside too!



Finally got someone to help me, and he told me that the key was too worn down to cut and to "take it to a dealer". The best locksmith in Huntsville? More like most rude and most unprofessional locksmith in Huntsville. Jerry Damson did the work for me in half an hour and for only $10 more. AND they were very respectful, courteous, and truly cared about customer satisfaction.

My ignition lock cylinder and transponder key recently locked-up. I was eventually able to remove them, and, cleaned and lubricated them carefully, but was reluctant to re-install them. I stopped by Blair and Sons Locksmith shop, and after disassembling and inspecting the fit and function of the cylinder and key, the locksmith assured me that both were in good shape, made a new transponder key, programmed the car's anti-theft system and had me back to work before my lunch hour was up, for under $50. Attitude, knowledge, skill and value. I was pleased to say the least.

Best Locksmith in town. Did a honda key for me that I am sure was a pain for him at a great price and would not even keep the change when I offered. Shop was a little hard to spot he is between holmes and 565 next to the tailor shop.
