With more than 40 years experience of producing Level 1-certified fasteners for the U.S. Navy and its subcontractors, such as General Dynamics and its Seawolf attack submarines, Level 1 Fasteners is a member GD's source delegated inspection team. Level 1 is a quality program that was initialized and implemented by the Department of Navy with the safety of its men and fleet at sea in mind. Its basic objective ensures total traceability of each part that builds ships and submarines by mandatory requirement of maintaining material identification from the melt source to its end-use. The company also manufactures and stock fasteners for military, aerospace, aircraft, medical and oil drilling applications. Boeing Rocketdyne, Lockheed Martin Marietta and Raytheon approve it. It is also qualified by Department of Defense s naval warfare division to produce certain products listed on the qualified products lists. Level 1 Fasteners is located in Huntington, W.Va.
