Welcome to our surf school website, if you are looking for surf lessons, a learn to surf vacation, or a surf vacation package, we are the place. This site will have information on private or group surf lessons at the Huntington Beach surf school and information with pictures of our private surf resort in Guanacaste, Costa Rica. HUNTINGTON BEACH SURF SCHOOL: Our flag ship school and headquarters is located in Huntington Beach, California. We operate from May until the end of September and offer a variety of lessons. We specialize in long term programs for locals. COSTA RICA SURF SCHOOL: Join us and step into 80 degree water and learn how to surf, shake those bad habits and surf fundamentally sound or just come surf at this consistent beach break and enjoy our private surf resort. Our custom built bungalows, pool and restaurant are waiting for you for the ultimate learning or surfing experience. We offer an all inclusive package which will immerse you into a surfing experience of a lifetime. We operate all year with the exception of September and October. In Costa Rica we only do private one on one lessons and our package includes all the lessons you need. We are a private surf resort located away from the commercial chaos but close enough if you want to indulge. These are authentic photos of the beach we surf on a daily basis and local animals of the property and the walk to the beach, not some generic pictures of Costa Rica. Each of our surf schools operate with its unique characteristics, emphasizing safety and the real surfing fundamentals not just popping up and looking like you can surf in the white water.The fundamentals are taught by a number system creating "muscle memory" skills in paddling and standing to insure your body is in the correct/proper position on the surfboard which is essential to successful surfing. Learning to surf is a long process but with our number system supported with muscle memory application and coaching you will cut the learning curve considerably.
