Was told the appraiser came in about once a month, so I scheduled an appointment. I was the first one at 10:30. I arrived at 10:15. The sales staff seemed surprised that I was there. They called to verify she was coming. She had some excuse and cancelled. They wanted to know if I wanted to reschedule for the following week (I had reworked my day around this appointment). I said that I wanted to get an idea how much they would pay me for the earrings I brought in. They offered $2000. Not only was my time wasted with the appointment, and to add insult to injury they said they usually called the Friday before to confirm which they hadn't, THEN they insulted me with the offer. The earrings are insured for $10,000, but I knew if I had an appraisal I'd get a better offer. They even had the nerve to say my diamonds were of a low grade! Sorry - bad review here!
