My wife and I recently visited Jensen Jewelers to purchase an upgrade to her original wedding ring and band. My wife visited alone the first time to get an idea for what options were available, and get some pricing information. My wife came home with tons of information, and was very impressed with the level of service that she received during the 60+ minutes that she was in the store. The sales person she was dealing with, Jerene, was super helpful, and even communicated promptly through email many times to answer questions my wife had. When she had narrowed down her selection we visited Jensen's together, and talked with Jerene for probably an hour. We talked about how we could incorporate parts of her current ring into the new ring. She discussed stone options, and never tried to push us outside of the budget we had given her to work in. It isn't very often that you go to an establishment these days, where the sales people are looking to do what is best for the customer, and not what is best for their wallets. Jerene was wonderful in making sure that we got the ring that was exactly what we wanted.

I found Jensen by chance, I had bought a diamond from Jareds and got home and was just not feeling at all excited about the purchase, I felt so much pressure and was tag teamed by two workers at jareds. I got online and googled Jeweler stores in grand rapids and came across their site, after reading all the reviews I knew I had to come check out what they had. With that being said the next day I called Jareds to tell them not to ship my ring out (since they said they couldnt work with platinum and my ring would be gone for 8 weeks due to they would have to send it out to a laser shop to be worked on) They said my ring was there and had not been sent out, however when I went to pick it up and do the return, they pulled me into a small room to tell me that they pulled my original diamond out of my setting, then told me they would have to see if their gold smith could reset it. Without my permission the goldsmith tried to reset the diamond, and in doing so butchered my beautiful scott kay setting. Then they tried to tell me that it would be 400 dollars for them to fix (but I had to pay it) and they still had to send it out and it would be gone 8 weeks! I was sooo upset, then they said if I was willing to purchase the other diamond they would set it for free...(the new 7000 dollar diamond of course, not my own) I was being cornered and I was not about to give them a dime. I went to Jensen sooo worried they would tell me there would be nothing they could do, instead Glen their goldsmith told me that he could fix my ring, and set my new 1ct diamond from Jensen into my setting, and he did this in 2, yes 2 days!!! My ring is as good as new, and so beautiful. Amy and Tara were so amazing and HONEST with me.....they told me to file a complaint with the BB against Jareds, and I will be doing that. Dan the owner came out and talked to me as well, and he was amazing! I spent four hours with them looking at diamonds.....they even let me look at them outside in the natural light!! How amazing is that! Please dont make the same mistake I made....dont go to Jareds, or Rogers and Holland, or Zales or any mall store.....make the drive and go to Jensen! Hands down they are the best Jeweler in town! I will go no where else after this, because they cared about me and my wedding set, not about a sale! Thank you Jensen!

We were shopping for a diamond ring at the mall jewelers in Grandville and they kept trying to get us approved for credit before we even picked out our rings. At Jensen’s we selected our wedding rings first (it was all about what we wanted) and then we worked with them on financing. After searching all over the Grand Rapids area, I would highly recommend buying your diamond from Jensen Jewelers.

I have heard their commercials on jq99 for many years and always wondered if they were really as great as they sounded. I was looking to buy a new (updated) engagement ring for my wife and knew I didn’t want to shop at the mall jewelers or at Jared’s as I heard you do better at a local jeweler. Well, I was not disappointed. Julie took such good care of me. I never felt pressured, got a great education, she spent a lot of time with me and left with a ring that really thrilled my wife on our anniversary. This place is different, they really are what they advertise and I would highly recommend them to anyone!

I am so happy with this place! This is really strange. I came to this store by finding them online and reading their reviews, and now I am writing one! I went here looking for an engagement ring for my second marriage. They gave me so much for trading in my previous ring! They offered a lot more for my ¾ carat diamond by far than anywhere else we checked! So I got 35% off my new engagement ring, 50% off my new diamond and a huge trade-in to apply toward it. I ended up walking out of there with a gorgeous new ring and hardly paid and money! The staff is so friendly; they were super helpful and really took their time with me. I really can’t say enough about this place. Their selection of diamond engagement rings was better than anywhere else we looked including a lot of the big name jewelry stores around the mall. Their designs are also very unique. If you are on the fence at all about whether it is worth the trip to check this place out, just do it. I didn’t know that much about this jeweler before I went there and now I am sending everyone I know there! Trust me, you won’t be disappointed!!

Definitely worth the visit. We looked all over Grand Rapids and the Rivertown Mall and did not find anywhere that could match the service and the prices we got at Jensen Jewelers. I had two friends buy at Jensen’s and they strongly recommended this place. I found it difficult to believe it could be so great at a little jewelry store out in Hudsonville. Well, believe me, their selection is not small, it is huge and more unique than anywhere else we looked. It was truly worth the drive. They are so friendly and helpful, I felt like they truly wanted to help me get what I wanted, and didn’t pressure me. I also used their 12 months financing which was awesome.

I stopped in for a wedding band for my fiance because the mall stores had all the same stuff. So many unique styles! I spent a little more than what I anticipated but it was so well worth it! I even found my bridal party gifts too in one of their catologues! I have a jeweler for life.

I must say the service that my fiance and I received surpassed all others. The prices are unbeatable. I wouldn't shop any where else!
