NEVER AGAIN! I have been to this salon several occasions for hair services, including cut and color, with a different stylist each time. I have never left happy with my results. Not once. But I kept going back because I prefer Aveda products and this is my local salon. I just went to get my bangs cut and was very adamant when communicating with the stylist that I wanted them to be long and tapered and she immediately cut them at least an inch if not 2 inches too short!!! I am absolutely devastated after growing my bangs out for two years, I can’t believe she wasn’t more cautious. I will be purchasing all my Aveda products online and never going back to this salon again!

I had not heard great things about this hair salon, but decided to give it a try since they are an Aveda salon. I found the staff to be aloof in general, and did not get a sense of "spirit de corps," among the salon team. Prices are high, and quite honestly, the quality of the service at my current salon is so much better.

Beautiful salon. It's very open and relaxing inside. The staff is so nice. They are a very talented group of people. There is a gorgeous spa in the lower level where they do pedicures, facials and massage. I'm so happy we found this place.

Bad experience. Went there with my cousin, the bride, myself and the other bridesmaids to get our hair done. Several of the staff members were extremely rude and bitchy to us. We felt like they didn't appreciate our business at all. They scolded us as soon as we walked in because we ran 20 minutes late, then continued letting us have it as they did our hair causing one of the bridesmaids to go into tears. (She eventually got switched to another stylist who ended up being a lot better and nicer). I know it is rude to be late but they need to realize that when 5 girls are getting ready for a wedding and trying to get everyone organized and ready to go, things happen! It wasn't the end of the world; most of our styles ended up being simple anyways. I ended up paying $60 just to have my hair curled, it took 25 min. Another girl had a cut, wash and style and only paid $33! I will never go back to this salon.

I took my daughter here to get her hair done because someone in the family had theirs done here and it looked great. But talk about a disappointment, They looked at the picture that i had of my family member (same girl, doing the same thing, as my family member) and yet it looked absolutely awful. She left it lift to much and burned it and then made it white, she put on a toner, yeah right, how about actually toning it down. Ha Needless to say they never told my that you had to pay for everything done to the hair individually. So my daughter went home crying with her hair wet, (White and Purple Black Hair, I might add. Thank you! How a beautician can see her finished product without drying (especially 2 colors) is beyond me. I will never go back and never recommend anyone to go there. This place is a gem! I started going here in 2012 and will not go anywhere else. Patrick is awesome and really takes the time to consult me on my hair style and needs. The front desk is very friendly and calls every time the day before a service to remind me. They always have great holiday specials and gift sets that includes coupons for future services. The esthetician Katie is amazing..she is extremely knowledgable and takes the time to consult with her clients on their skin needs. I've never left a service with her (or Patrick) without feeling ultra confident in myself

I was looking for an Aveda salon in the Hudson area and tried Simply Swank. Very disappointing; certainly not a customer service focused salon. I will not go back.

They were very good. I got my appointment a day after I called even though they offered me a same day one I wanted one then next day. They took very good care of my hair and I am very satisfied with there service. I am going to keep going back to them from now one for sure.

I just moved here & there location would have been perfect for me. But as a new customer I had to schedule weeks for a hair or a nail appt. Unless you know what your schedule is 4-6 weeks in advance, gettingan appt. is impossible. If they are busy they don't answer their phone. If you leave a message, no one calls you back. I think they are satisfied with the clientele they have and are not interested in bringing in new business. I felt like I was always begging them to use their services, inally I just moved onto another salon.
