While the dr is very knowledgeable, I was not to fond of his deamoner. He second guessed me on everything I told him about my dog as if he didn't believe me. He told me one price and ending up charging me alot more. He didn't LISTEN to me. My dog refused to eat the science diet he prescribed and he told me I had to feed to him. He wasn't willing to work with me and I need a vet that I can have a good relationship with because my dog has an ongoing illness. He seemed perturbed that I knew what I was doing and could do alot of the things at home, I am very experienced with sick and handicapped dogs and didn/'t need to come to the office all the time. I spent 1300.00 for 4 days of service and although he saved my dog he seemed perturbed when I called the first week with questions. I think he knows his stuff, but I personally cannot deal with a vet I cannot feel comfortable talking openly about my dog.

Very Caring Vet

I own Posh Pooch Pet Spa in Howell and refer many of my customers to Dr. Hussein, all of who come back and thank me. He is VERY caring to animals, which you don't see a lot in Veterinarians anymore. He REALLY cares about them and his passion for their well being is obvious. He is extremely knowledgeable in all phase of animal medicine. His fees are also reasonable and affordable to the working class population. If you are looking for a new vet or new to the area this is certainly the place to go!!!!!!

Incredible Vet

As a P.S. to what my wife said: For a number of years we were going to what we know now was a hack clinic. As Dutch was aging we attempted to give him he best quality of life we could. Dutch suffered from numerous ailments including a problem with his eyes that was clearly observable. We were told by a number of previous vets from that same clinic over a year and a half period that the eye issue "was no big deal." Immediately after looking at the dog, Dr. Hussein knew exactly what the problem was and saved Dutch with proper medication from being blind for the remainder of his life. Explaining everything, Dr. Hussein gave Dutch the best quality of life I could have asked for in Dutch's declining years. After being overcharged by this prior clinic with less than useful results, the competency of Dr. Hussein and the reasonableness of his office charges for visits still astounds me. I'm sure there are some good vets out there somewhere, but I'm not changing this one. Not for any price.

Fantastic Vet

We had some very bad experiences with the previous vet we used for our chocolate lab, Dutch. My husband did some research and found some excellent reviews of Dr. Hussein. We were totally amazed by Dutch's reaction to Dr. Hussein, and his wonderful staff. Up to that initial visit, Dutch had to be muzzled to see his vet. Dutch responded warmly to Dr. Hussein and I am sure that is because Dutch could tell that Dr. Hussein truly cared about him. Whatever Dr. Hussein told Dutch to do, Dutch did immediately. This was truly a first! Dr. Hussein is a complete credit to his profession and when Dutch had to be euthanized, due to a severe and irreversible medical problem, he showed great compassion and caring. We would recommend Dr. Hussein highly to anyone who loves their pets and wants them to be cared for by someone who genuinely has their well-being at heart. Thank you, Dr. Hussein

5 Star Vet for Your Pet

Dr. Hussein is a warm and caring, personal vet with both animals and people. He quickly diagnosed and treated our doggie, but took time to insure the fact that we understood the needs and care of our pet. I was nervous about finding a new vet, and am thankful I found a 5 Star doctor for our pet. His staff is wonderful, helpful, friendly and sweet as well.... comes from the top down. When his secretary answered the phone I could tell she was welcoming me, a new patient, cheerfully. Go see for yourself, you'll be glad you found them too!
