In December of 2014, my cottage burned completely; I hired a construction company to rebuild the home for a specific amount that was agreed upon with the insurance company. After 3 years without completing the house, the constructors walked out on the rebuild and placed a lien on the house demanding $70,000 from me. For about 5 months I did not know the lien had been placed. That's when I finally spoke with an attorney and was told I might not prevail even though the agreed amount had been paid by the insurance co.

I needed a good attorney who could see the erroneous allocations I knew existed on the lien.
I then asked a friend who had worked for many years in the Livingston County Judicial System. Immediately without hesitation, she said David Prine in Howell is the best attorney.
Fortunately, he took my case and I was amazed that he knew right away there were flagrant attempts to list building items without proof to support them, and he settled the case as nuisance value.

While this is my story, I share it because I know from experience David Prine with Halm & Prine, P.C. is a knowledgeable, capable, and successful attorney and a good listener too.

My lien is finally off my house, and I'm grateful not to have to pay the illegal payment requested by the contractors.

I read the reviews about david prine, find it funny that it is two from people with criminal charges. Do the crime pay the price boys. Funny how it seems to be the laywers fault. I had used David Prine for a divorce that took about 2 years. He has low prices, answers calls, has good sound advise and went out of his way many times in my case. I would recommend him to all my friends and family and will use him in the future if need be. Was a pleasure to work with and there for you more then any lawyer I have ever dealt with. thank you

David Prine is the worst attorney...took my money and did absolutly NOTHING for it. Got a worse sentencing then the other person charged with the samething and he showed up WITHOUT any attorney!!!! Sure was a waste of our money! DO NOT HIRE HIM IF YOU WANT ANY JUSTICE.

dave prine is the worst lawyer in the state of michigan!! he takes your money then wont do a damn thing to try to even offend you afterwards. he will hang you out to dry. does not care what happens to you. he might answer your phone call after you have left 90 messages if you are lucky!! im serious he is a big joke but the laugh will be on you!!! so unless you want to go to jail or prison for a crime you did not committ then i would NOT hire him to represent my dog!!!!
