My mother's house had water spraying back into the basement from the main drain line. The first plumber I called could not send anyone for 2 weeks and suggested I start by pumping out the septic tank, which I did. However, the technician reported that the main line between the house and the tank was blocked and suggested someone to come snake out the line. I asked if he could suggest someone, and they recommended Ben Masters at Action Drains. I called Ben and after discussing the problem, he arrived later that day. After some investigating and discussion we agreed on a plan and a quoted price which was very fair, and that he would start the next morning. As he started executing the plan the next day, it became apparent that the main sewer line was badly deteriorated. Ben was very respectful of our budget and was deliberate in trying to save as much of the existing pipe as possible. However, it became apparent that replacement of the line from the house to the tank was the right thing to do. At this point, I should mention that while my mother's house is in Michigan, I live in Texas and all of this communication was happening over the phone. Ben sent me numerous photos to document the issues and the progress (my brother was alone in the house but is hearing impaired so it was up to me to communicate and make decisions). Again, Ben was excellent in communication and workmanship, took the time to discuss the situation clearly, and the price was fair. I was very satisfied with the result and would not hesitate to call Ben again if I have other plumbing needs.

Called another plumber in town... Wasn't treated well on the phone and was called and told they couldn't come out until the next day... Was our main drain and we watch our grand kids.. so I called action drain.. They showed up a 1/2 hour early about an hour after I called them. Were very professional and cheaper then the last plumber we uses.. Will highly recommend them to my friends.

Feb 2, 2015......Huge snowstorm. Our snowblower wouldn't start. There was no way for us to get out because the driveway had 12-14" of snow on it. I called Ben and he was here in 5 minutes. He did an excellent job with the plow (pulling it away from the garage). He even offered to plow part of my neighborhood so I could get out (after I had already paid him). There's a reason he's been in business for 35 years.
