The branch on Crossbay Blvd. in Howard Beach, N.Y. has the worst bank manager.

Mr. Law is very rude and chauvinistic. He has made solicitation calls on our joint accounts to promote various investments but will only speak to the man of the house.

The staff has been cut to the bone, the two employees remain very polite and efficient although harried and overworked. The manager also talks disrespectfully to both women.

Sovereign’s rates were not competitive with another local bank, so husband and I went in to close our account. The manager’s demeanor changed to that of an angry spoiled child who becomes personally offended that we were leaving and stated acting out like that of a willful child.

He would not look at either of us nor speak directly to us. He asked for two forms of I.D. , never turning away from facing his computer. He just stuck his hand out and returned the document in the same manner.

We will never deal with a that allows this type of behavior
