See Steven Xue is a nightmare!

I had no major problems of the teeth, just to want a crown, but dentist wants to fillings, the assistant dentist get confused leak, my toothache, so the dentist do root canal therapy, and made more and more trouble, the patient is no alternative, to have to again and again to seek treatment, the clinic made the appointment; when i went to , that the dentist said he do not have time to look, he did not to see patient but then he charged medical expenses,



He is a physician and clinic owners, but any problems and trouble, he call you to ask assistant physician, the patient very no respected. do a root canal treatment but patient himself did not know, nor informed that needs to be done after the root canal treatment permanent fillings again.he put a permanent resin composite fill, less than a month fall and lose, come back to find him, the receptionist said that there is no warranty guarantee not know, the dentist refuse to see you .

No one can believe him

DON'T go to Dr. Steven Xue for fillings!!!! This is my conclusion after my only direct experience with him, and NO MORE.

It's actually my 2nd visit to his office for a routine teeth cleanup. Dr. Xue is indeed a good businessman rather than a good doctor. My first visit was the same to do the routine cleanup, and at the end he figured out several dental work needed to be done including some fillings and a major procedure to remove my wisdom teeth which was grown underneath horizontally. Luckily I didn't do any repair work or procedure during the first visit because Dr. Xue told me he needed approval from the insurance company first. And I didn't go back there after the office called because I don't like him pushing for some additional unnecessary work.

However, I should say the lady did a very good job of teeth cleaning. So this time after they called me again to schedule my routine cleaning, I accepted and went. However, after the cleaning and the X-ray, Dr. Xue told me I needed a filling at the left bottom side immediately. So I asked if he could do it right now without rescheduling another appointment. He agreed this time. Here is the nightmare started. He did several fillings instead of just one he pointed out to me. And mostly important, I kept feeling pain after his filling job since the same night. I didn't feel any problem before the cleanup, but then after this visit, I couldn't even bite or eat on the left side of my mouth because of pain and sensitive to the cold/hot even to the tooth paste whenever I brush my teeth on the left side of my mouth, both top and bottom. And it just kept getting worse.

I was thinking to go back and ask him to re-do the work, but I am afraid he will make it worse. So today I went to another dentist I have been seeing in the past years. The only reason I switched dentist is because of schedule. The old same dentist I always have been seeing, the wait time is too long, more than a month for a routine cleanup. But Dr. Xue is available for appointment within a week. This makes a huge mistake!!!

My old same dentist checked for me and told me he could try to fix most of them for me, but he found I had a very small decayed hole before on the left bottom side, but Dr. Xue made it so big and hurt my nerve, which caused some infection. It might take several days to heal. If not recovered, I have to get root canal on this particular one. Not to mention other poor job he did on my top side teeth. What a poor skill by Dr. Xue!!! And insurance might not cover this 2nd time repair work. So far I don't know how much I will have to pay if the insurance doesn't cover.

My advice: be careful when you switch dentist or doctor and be careful before agreeing to any major work. Only simple teeth cleaning is okay, but no more repair work by Dr. Xue.
