Whiskey River pros & Cons

The atmosphere is offering good food, drink, and a nice dance floor. The draw back is the music set ups for the dancers. Playing 10 to 12 Polkas, in a row just doesn't get it. I would hope that this establishment would consider revising their set up of music to accompany types of dances. Examples: Two step. waltz, night club, country cha cha, West coast swing--Texas whip, & polka. I am one of the numerous individuals in the houston dance community; who enjoying 35+ individuals to dance. At this point and time will making my way to Whiskey River to dance with my friend; nor recommend to dance/party with friends..
