Urgent Care at Westfield Urgent Care Urgent care in Kingwood, Spring, Humble, Champions, and The Woodlands. Quality, efficient urgent care at an affordable price. Open weekends, too! If you have a major medical emergency, call 911 immediately. If you pulled something in your back racing a water taxi on The Woodlands Waterway in a rented kayak, urgent care may be just what you need. Urgent care includes minor medical treatments like stitches, x-rays and casts, vaccinations, and a number of other treatments most people associate with the emergency room. The advantage of using urgent care is that you don't have the tedious emergency room wait and prices for treatment are typically lower than what you wind up with when visiting an emergency room, particularly when that emergency room is associated with a hospital. As an urgent care provider in The Woodlands area, Westfield Urgent Care is a great alternative to the local emergency room. There's no need to call ahead. We accept walk-ins every day and we are open on weekends, as well. If you are looking for urgent care in The Woodlands, give us a call or come on down. We are conveniently located on FM 1960 near the Hardy Toll Road. Click on the address on the left of this page for a map.

This was my second time to visit. The first visit went very well even thought they were about to close. I felt like they went overboard to make sure I was in good hands. I know now that there are new owners and from what I read earlier on the reviews is old news. My second visit was just as good, everyone was personable and took time to answer all my questions. Thank you for the great service.

Our company has used Westfield Urgent Care for over two years in providing excellent healthcare for our employees and injuries. It is without a doubt that we trust the doctors and staff and keeping our employees healthy and safe! They never rush during our appointments and even follow-up on patients! We would highly recommend Westfield Urgent Care for any company, safety program, or personal care use.

Eh....

I've had plenty of experiences with urgent care clinics, this one was, by far, at the bottom of the list. The staff (all included) made me feel insignificant, almost belittled in a way. I apologize for having an anxiety attack because I had strep, hadn't eaten in 24 hrs, and you just drew my blood after I told you I faint very easy?!?! Impersonable facility that I wouldn't go back to, or recommend. There are SO many places in Houston to go to, drive a mile or two down the street. I will next time!

terrible with toddlers

I took my son in because he hurt his finger and there was a crack noise and screaming so this being the nearest location we went here. He is 3. There was a asain nurse who didn't give me much of a chance to calm him down to check his temp. And saidok we will need to do a rectal temp. And was very adament. I was very uncomfortable wiyh this bbecause he's getting to the age where he knows no one should be messing down there and I feel its very traumatic if its not a baby. Well the doctor asked me what happend I told him. And how he hurt his hand. But he INSISTED I was wrong even after the xrays. That I was twirling my son in circles and his elbow dislocated and popped back in. Now if a 3 year old did that to his elbow he would be holding his elbow not his hand. And not wanting you to touch his elbow. They did xrays and everything thank god came up fine. But he still insisted that I twirled him around and popped out his elbow. How could I have done this when I was 5ft awat from him when this happened??? I told the dr. Ok its not his elbow its his hand fix it. And he wanted to give my son a sling! I told him you know what I guarantee he will throw it on the ground when we get home you ask him. He did and all my son said was no I want to go home. Without getting a clear answer from the dr of what the crack at all was except no breaks or fractures and he believe he dislocated his elbow from me twirling him. Terrible doctor. When walking out the nurse asked if he was ready for rectal temp yet that she's ready. I looked at her crazy....we are finished lady....NO!!! right of refusal for temp. And the front desk staff didn't greet us walking in or help us until we stood up there for 5 mins then it litteraly took 40mins for them to enter information in the computer. Just to even be next to be seen. Not efficient at all. We asked a girl how long will it be after we waited 20mins and she said oh I haven't started yet so I can't give u an estimate.....there was only 1 person in front of us for the urgent care and it took that long. I woked for memorial hermann and if we werent finished in 5mins entering something is seriously wrong. Plus verifying insurance takes like 3mins I know because I've done it. There needs to b a policy that if there's a screaming crying toddler or infant they should be bumped up in line expessially if the other patients physicaly look like they are just fine and not bleeding. Rediculous.

After checking with our PPO, and confirming that our travel shots were covered, and then getting confirmation at the office, we were told that we would have to pay first and then file our own insurance because they didn't like the hassle. Well, we were charged full price, not PPO negotiated price. Tried to give Dr. some feedback and was called a liar and that travel immunizations were never covered by any insurance and that only urgent care was in the PPO, not travel shots. Dr. was defensive and obnoxious after talking us into $4000 worth of shots that we were told would be reimbursed. Even rabies which is not covered by our PPO.

I visited Westfield Urgent Car...

I visited Westfield Urgent Care last December with moderate flu-like symptoms, I wanted to get meds as I was about to go on a trip to see my very ill grandmother and didn't want to give her the flu. First of all I've NEVER had to take my shirt off for a simple exam EVER, and being a trusting person I didn't think much of it because the doctor wanted to check to make sure my "chest pains" (I told them my chest was sore due to coughing) were not serious. This should have been a red flag! After an hour of waiting he says I'm negative for the flu but prescribed both a z-pack and Tamiflu for illnesses I didn’t have. Now, almost 5 months later I receive a non itemized bill for approx $400?!? I asked the personnel at the clinic before I agreed to services if the visit would be covered by my insurance and she said yes, and I paid my co-pay. I am a college student and cannot afford a $400 doctor visit, especially for ridiculous non-needed tests. I will never come here again, and have learned it is actually cheaper to visit the emergency room.

Urgent Care on FM 1960

These guys are great. Urgent care is so convenient and easy. You're in and out in less time than any emergency room I've ever sat through.

We live near Champions on FM 1960 and Westfield Urgent Care is just up the road from us on 1960 near the Hardy Toll Road. They're open Saturdays and Sundays, too. I've basically made Westfield Urgent Care my full-time doctor because they can see me on Sundays.

I absolutely love this urgent care facility.
