I do like U-Haul and their service. However, this location (16405 I-45 N) is terrible. The Manager is lacking basic customer service skills and is rude. Although the manager (Ava) mentioned several times that she is doing everything to help and make me happy as a customer, she did nothing to really help. I had a valid reservation, my valid driver license, more than one valid credit card and other identifications with me. However, they couldn't reach my second reference (my son - he was at work and didn't pick up the phone) and would NOT let me rent a trailer. What a customer service!
I went a few miles down from 16405 I-45 N to 12455 Veterans Memorial Dr. and rented a similar trailer in no time.
If you like competent and customer service oriented people - avoid the I-45 N location and look for a different U-Haul location.
