they charged me $ 175.00 to tow car 6 miles wth!!!

Dear Houston, Texas, DO NOT I repeat DO NOT go to 8729 Richmond Ave. for car servicing. My fiance took his car there for a job that at most should have taken no more than 2 hours. They told him it would be ready the next day and he showed up with the money without even a call letting him know it wasn't ready yet, this happened everyday for a week. When he approached them about why they didn't call to let him know it wasn't really ready they responded "it's not our job to call you" even though they had been calling to inform it WAS ready. They held his car for a week, admitted that their mechanic "just didn't show up to work", they yelled at him (the customer), and even made racist remarks along the lines of "people like you don't pay" (black). They took no money off, discounted absolutely nothing, they yelled at him for not wanting to pay full price and accused him of seeking "hand outs", and every time he came in they accused him of not having the money even though he did. I have never heard of such business practices and don't think they are worth supporting if this is how they treat paying customers. He was unable to get to work and in total lost approx $1,000 because of their business methods (he had to pay full price and was unable to make it work, luckily he didn't get fired for their incompetent behavior). He will be short on rent because he was unable to get to work. This is truly unacceptable. Please, pass this on to any car enthusiasts or people in the area. Thank you.
