I have lived in the Lodge at Copperfield Apartments for six months. Although the apartment itself is beautiful, I cannot recommend living in the complex due to the dismal customer service.

When I moved in, I was not shown around my apartment or the complex. Soon after I moved it, I went to use the workout facility. On at least six occasions, the room was not unlocked during the posted hours. I notified staff several times, and the issue was not corrected. I was extremely disappointed that this service that had been promised in my lease was not provided. When I tried to get in contact with staff, I several messages, several of which were not returned. The staff finally got back to me (one month after my initial concern) and told me that there was nothing that they could do.

The complex changed their rent policy after a robbery. Now we must pay the rent in person during their business hours or online. However, I share an apartment with a roommate, and we are not able to pay the rent online unless we pool our money and pay using a joint account. This is not an acceptable solution to me, as my roommate and I do not feel comfortable transferring large sums of money between each other. Thus, this leaves our only remaining options to take off work so that I may rent during business hours. I have left over 5 messages with the Sentinel Corporation, and none have been returned.
