We called this place. They told us about a special and to come in and take a tour. We did. Then we sat down for the paperwork. Guess they saw we were colored folk. Suddenly the ‘special’ was gone and they jacked the rate. Wonder why they jacked the rate after they saw us in person?

Come to think of it I saw lots of people on the tour yet no minorities and specifically colored folk. Was this by design or just random. The African-American population of the Houston-area is probably 20-30 percent so it was probably not some random thing.

The Leasing Agent was nice but the ladies from the back were the ones causing the problem for me. Every time the Agent would go in back and discuss something with a brunette lady and come back with some garbage. We left and are glad. Don't come to this place because there is a reason it is rated 18%. Even where I come from 18% is an F, and extremely weak F which stands for FAILURE. In Essex’s House the 18% F if for COMPLETE AND UTTER FAILURE!!!
