The worse experience i've ever had. Do NOT USE THEM. NOT professional at all All what they care about how to steal your money.. If you are tenant Good luck if you late with the rent few days you will find the cop in front of your house giving you court date just for few days late.... and then here when you pay they will double charge you again and again keep charging you the same fees forever. and Sam WILL NEVER EVER ANSWER YOUR CALLS OR EVEN REPLY TO YOUR EMAILS. Who ever writing these previous reviews someone from the company and y'all know how to do that. trust me that's all LIES ... I will sue them very soon and trust me they will be out of business very soon.

We are very pleased. Sam the owner was accessible and personally responds to any questions in a prompt manner. This is something that we appreciate the main reason why we decided to leave a review at this site. Really highly recommended.

January 18, 2015Texas Renters has provided great property management services. For the services they provide and the costs they charge its a great deal. They rented our property, arranged everything, represent me during the process, and have all the documentation online in their portal. This has been a great relationship and allows my family to incorporate the rental property in our retirement portfolio. I really appreciate the owner, Sam Upchurch, personally being a part of the process and highly recommend Texas Renters.

Have been a renter since July of 2014. Was not impressed with response and service until Sam Upchurch has been responding. Most impressed with his quick response to requests and his friendliness. Keep up the good work.

Wow! After reading all the other reviews I am shocked! Had I read them beforehand I may not have moved in to my current property. However, my experience has been completely different, and Estephanie made my application process as painless and smooth as possible. Don't get me wrong, there were a lot of hoops to jump through as their screening process for tenants is efficient. But they were just thorough. Amanda in the office literally walked me through the set up of my Tenant Portal by staying on the phone with me with step by step instructions. She & Estephanie were more than amicable and pleasant to do business with. Prior to move-in, there were a few things I wanted addressed, and I was given no flack as they took care of those repairs. I found them to be professional & have no complaints. As we have been here a couple weeks now, I have noticed a few other things that need addressing, and have gone the proper channels by following protocol with a service request. Though they have not been addressed yet to this date, they are not issues detrimental to safety or health and I am sure they are not considered top priority while making repair rounds. I am overall pleased and quite hopeful of our business relations in the future. As someone whom holds Ethics and Professionalism as staples for my practices, I currently see no holes in theirs. Like many situations, different factors apply & create a different experience. In my experience, it's best to uphold high standards for oneself, and usually the response is to get back the same in return.

When we were in the market for a property manager, our Realtor recommended two companies to get in touch with. We called both, but never received a return call. We did a quick interned search and sent out emails to 4 other companies in Houston and called the 4 with the nicest websites. We immediately received a call back from Texas Renters. the lady's name was Mrs. Rose. She provided us with all the info I needed and if I needed anything else, she was the person to contact again. Before we knew it, she had an account rep out to our homes and we were rocking and rolling. There was no time lost. Within 2 weeks we had our first tenant and the company guaranteed that if there were any problems, they would pay to find a new tenant How cool! Well, that was 1 year ago. So far we're pleased with the service. The staff is responsive and they know our business well. Sam and Carla (the owners) have taken personal responsibility to assist us as well. We have no complaints so far and I highly recommend them.

We have been working with Texas Renters for 3 years with several Houses. The team is great and they are always available when needed. Communication is very clear and we know what is coming ahead of time. I did recommend them for several friends and I do recommend them now. I saw some of the negatives review and I think its unfortunate because thats not what I experienced at all for the last 3 years. I also got feedback from the tenants and they understand the rules and appreciate TR, the only complain that I had was from one tenant that had to pay for late fee when they paid their rent late. I plan to stay with TR for many years to come.

Carla and Sam are the best! They have gone above and beyond helping us wiith our property. The advise they give and the one on one attention is superior. We have sold many pieced of property through the years and have never had realtors put the energy and effort into selling, as these two have done. They are knowledgeable, professional and friendly. We would recommend them to anyone who is interested in selling their home or property.

Called texas renters so Workers would come to cut down the branches over growing on to the garage. And on to a shed in the back of the house. Â I rent because I don't want to deal with hassle of being a homeowner. They came, but they left the branches in a pile that the Trashmen wouldn't pick up. Arrgh! Left a polite but terse email for the property management branch, and they replied within minutes . Within 2days the branches were gone, gone, gone! Couldn't be happier! 5 stars from me, and I love being a renter through texas renters!

My husband and I have sold many properties and used many realtors, but we have never experienced the professionalism that Carla and Sam have shown us. Our calls are returned anytime we call, no matter what time of day or night. They have gone above and beyond to address any issues we may have. We highly recommend Texas Renters!

Sam Upchurch and TexasRenters.com - Beware of His Service! It's a Fake!



Do not use TexasRenters.com!! What a terrible experience my family has had with Sam Upchurch and TexasRenters.com over the past year!! While selling our home and building another, we needed a place in Katy to rent in between so we found 24627 Cornell Park Lane, Katy, TX 77494. We were assured that the house would be "move-in-ready" by the time we needed to move in so we signed the lease and started the process. WRONG!! TexasRenters.com never cleaned the home before we moved in so we had to do it all ourselves. The garage was filthy. There was fur on the carpet, nail holes in all the walls, the walls were never painted or touched up, the floors were dirty and not vacuumed. The counters were filthy. We were told by Sandi Garza from TexasRenters.com that we would lose our deposit if we backed out. So we cleaned it all ourselves! After we finally took a break at the end of the first day, my wife and I found that the house was completely infested with fleas!! So we took off to the Marriott around the corner and called an exterminator! Texas Renters wouldn't credit us for the extermination process OR our stay at the hotel so we had to spend our own money and hours wasting our time and pleading our case. In their defense, TexasRenters.com did pay a portion of the extermination process but did nothing towards the extermination contract.



A day after that, we found a leak in the sprinkler system that we had to fix, with no help from TexasRenters.com. The next day, their manager, Sandi, shows up on a Sunday unannounced in a skimpy tank top reeking of alcohol and picks up the house condition form after I had already sent it in to them. Although Sandi quickly left the Company, this type of stuff went on for a full year; nickel and diming us every chance they got.



We always took exceptional care of the home. In the end, the house was spotless. We had cleaning ladies and a pro steam cleaning company come in and make it sparkle before we left. Now, we receive a note from Sam Upchurch that they are charging us for dog urine upstairs. When I told TexasRenters.com that we had nothing to do with any pet stains, no dogs, cats, etc, Sam just told us that he was going to charge us regardless. This sent my Bride off the deep end. The house is in far better condition than when we first moved in and everyone knows it but we were told by TexasRenters.com that we couldn't contact the owners about any of this. We were told that we could only speak with TexasRenters.com. In my opinion, TexasRenters.com is a trashy, third rate company who is crooked, not to be trusted, or rented from. If I were you, I would NEVER USE THEIR SERVICES TO EITHER MANAGE MY PROPERTY OR RENT FROM!! EVER!
