Alief Taylor High School is operated by the Alief Independent School District. The school, located in Houston, offers classes from grades nine through 12. It provides instruction in a wide range of study areas, including reading, social studies, English, math, science, business, arts, physical and health education, foreign languages and special education. Alief Taylor High School also offers classes in band, choir, orchestra, theater arts, dance and speech. The school provides career counseling to students through its guidance department. It has several student organizations, including book and arts clubs, Asian Society in Action, Business Professionals of America, Christians in Action, culture club, National Honor Society and student councils. The school also arranges a variety of athletic events for students.
