I've had many bad experiences in the past with other contractors causing damage, leaving huge messes, or disappearing without finishing the job. This makes you worry about having repairs or remodels done... but I would have no hesitation having Swinging Hammer do any work on my house.



Bobby and his crew are a shining example of what you want from a contractor working in your home. He did absolutely wonderful work on our house. He installed French doors in what used to be a large open archway, and found a solution to our runoff problem between our roof and arbor. I am so pleased with how the study doors turned out. Bobby and his helper were professional and polite. And at the end of the day, they cleaned up so well it looked like they'd never been there! I have never had any home repair go as smoothly. He was true to his bid, he got the job done at a very reasonable price, did quality work, and got it done on time! I have already had compliments on the work. He is the only guy we will ever call to have any work done on our house and I'd confidently refer him to anyone looking for home repairs.

Bobby and his crew did a wonderful job on my house. He replaced some trims and did some exterior painting. Arriving on time, courteous and efficient. Fair price but the quality is superior. I would recommend this company to anyone. Thanks very much Bobby!

It is my pleasure to recommend Swinging Hammer! Bobby and his team are very conscientious and deliver high quality work. They respected my home just as if it were theirs. So far he's replaced the weather stripping on all exterior doors (fixed the pathetic installation performed by my builder), floored the attic, installed a light fixture the correct way (my builder swore it could not be centered over the sink), installed a shower rod, and installed knobs on the bathroom cabinets. My next project is to add cabinets in the utility room. It's great to have a resource like Bobby to fix things around my home. I will continue to rely on Bobby & Swinging Hammer because he does very high quality work!

We hired Bobby and his crew to paint the interior of our house and build a wall of cabinets in our living room that was roughly 25 feet long---all while we were away on vacation for a week. We needed cabinetry that was designed to hold musical equipment of various sizes and weights, and this required a fair amount of planning. Bobby was able to build cabinets that accommodated all of our needs AND looked fantastic. He was very approachable, easy to work with, and always easy to reach by phone and email. We were a bit unsure about handing the keys to our home over while out of town to someone we had never worked with, but felt at ease given Bobby's great reviews and excellent BBB status. Arrived home to a beautifully painted house and a wall of cabinets that brings in compliments from everyone who visits. We really can't say enough good things and recommend Bobby to everyone we know!

If you are looking for exceptional work, Bobby and his guys are the best. We found him here on the yellow pages and decided to give him a call since he was the only person with a review. We began last year with some small repairs and he continues to impress us with our BIG after-hurricane repairs as well. He does everything from leaky faucets to new walls. I am now a repeat (and still very satisfied) customer of Swinging Hammer Home Repair. After the great job Bobby and his crew did on my back door I decided to hire them again for a larger job. I am glad I did because the results were outstanding.



They removed a large mirror covering a section of wall, repaired holes and cracks in the drywall, matched the texture and then painted my living/dining room and hallway (including all the trim and doors). They also completely upgraded the appearance of the fireplace by installing a new mantle shelf and adding granite tile to cover the existing brick. And they replaced some existing light fixtures with new track lighting.



It looks like a brand new room! I still highly recommend this company!

Bobby replaced my back door and everything about the job he did was excellent. He showed up when he said he would, he offered reasonable rates, his workmanship was top-notch, and he left the work area even cleaner than it was when he got there! I'm very impressed by him and his company and will definitely be calling on him to do more work in the future.

I gave a 5 star rating but wish I could give higher--I can't say enough about the superior quality and reliablity Bobby brings...He was always very prompt and ready to start working on arrival with th eproper tools each time...We have several jnobs for the house to be done and now we know who to call..I would recommend swinging hammer to my closet friends and done just that.

Bobby and his crew were great. They spent three days at my house...hanging ceiling fans, repairing sheetrock, replacing rotten wood, painting, pressure-washing the exterior....They were punctual, neat, and considerate. Bobby showed up exactly when he said he would and at times that were convenient to me. He explained in advance what he would do. He did it. He charged a fair rate. He cleaned up after himself. If more "handyman" places were like this, they'd have a much better reputation. I rate it at five stars only because I can't give more.

SHHR will graduate from the University of Houston with a degree in construction engineering.

No surprise, since his work style is always on time, always returns your calls and works in a methodical and clean manner. SH explains costs and materials to the customer. He has determination to make sure the service is complete and to your satisfaction. SHHR shows quality, value and concern. The work he has completed in our townhome has received "oohs and ahs" from our friends. "It doesn't get much better than that..."

After having had many handymen for the last 16 years, Bobby is a refreshing change. I've used Bobby for the last several years at my day care center. He is very responsible and has always been able to take care of my maintenance needs. Comes promptly when an emergency arises. This young man is extremely honest and trustworthy, highly recommendable!

I found Bobby by "Friend Referral" when I was moving to a new house. I needed renovations on the old house I was selling, as well as the new house I was buying. His work is quality and he goes the extra mile to make sure everything is done just right. His prices are very good. Bobby always cleans up after himself, is promptly on time, and is honest. I have even given him a key to my house so he can come and go while I am at work. Anyone will be impressed with this young man's character and professionalism. As you can tell, I can't say enough good things about him.

Plumber came in and tore apart the ceiling looking for the leak. After getting ridiculous quotes from around town to get the hole repairedm Bobby from swinging hammer came to save the day. Cheapest price, but that does not reflect his work performance at all. can't even tell there was a hole was ever present.
