After hurricane Harvey, the restaurant is now located on Fulton Street in North Houston, not on Richmond.The food here is delicious! The best fried chicken I ever had. The whole team was friendly. Two of the cast of the show was there Charles and Bruce they were kind enough to stop and take pictures with us. The service was great, the atmosphere was great. They were very busy, we had to stand in line a little longer, but it's worth the wait.

Omg, those golden delicious season greens was a big hit on my visit Oct. 8, 2017, along with my order with catfish.. My hubby knows I am a huge fan of mom. The staff was helpful and friendly. We look forward dining our family as they visit through out the year.. Our family to yours,, Hi, to Charles who I spoke Hey there, bless success.. indeed!!

Very pleased from the time we entered restaurant we were made to feel at home. We ordered the fried and smothered chicken dishes along with macaroni and cheese and dirty rice and the sweet yams to name a few and enjoyed every bit of it. This place is exactly what Houston needed! Authentic finger licking " in my soul" food. Many blessings and hopefully this place will continue to hit on all cylinders cause this will be our goto for home-cooking spot. Also thanks to all the crew And a special shout out to the manager Big Bruce for taking timeout to take a pic with family as this was my sister-in-law's last night in town.

The BEST Soul Food I've ever tasted. Service was good too, which is very important to me when i go out.

Soul food has never been my cup of tea. Found this establishment online and was intrigued by the menu, so I gave this restaurant a shot. Let me start by saying, the Food was Amazing! I ordered the fried chicken, macaroni, and greens with cornbread. I can't go without mentioning, the service was excellent, very friendly environment. The servers were very polite and attentive. May not be somewhere that i would frequent, but it was worth every penny, and I would recommend visiting this restaurant if you're in the area.

Food was good. Getting in and getting signed in was quite a wait. Once we were seated... it took a while for the waitress to come, but once she came and we let her know we were hungry and in bit of a hurry our food came out surprisingly fast!! I would recommend. Just work on getting people in and seated faster.

Not your average soul food joint! Stopped in here last weekend and was amazed. I am originally from St. Louis, where my friends and I used to frequent their original restaurant, and the food was awesome as always. It's hard to come by a quality soul food restaurant that actually gives you what you paid for. I came in here and was amazed. The seafood boil was nothing short of EXCELLENT with lots of choices, and I saw that there new newer items added to the menu. I'll be stopping in next weekend to try the shrimp and grits.

This place is awesome. they offer way more selections than the other locations. Now, I've visited their Location in Hollywood, Ca, and the food was AMAZING, but I must say, I am very impressed with this location. It's more upscale and has more of an adult vibe, but still family friendly. As always, the service is just as phenomenal as the food.

So, I've always been a fan of the Show. My family and I had even traveled all the way to St. Louis to eat at the restaurant and we were not disappointed! We were excited to find out that Tim opened up a restaurant closer to us, and well, we eat here every weekend. The service is just as good as the food. This location has more varieties too! FAN FOR LIFE!
