Located in Houston, Strake Jesuit is a Catholic, four-year college preparatory school for young men in grades nine through 12. The school was founded in 1961 and serves more than 850 students on an over 40 acre campus. It offers a liberal studies curriculum that includes foreign languages, mathematics, sciences, fine arts, social studies, English and theology. The school provides various athletic activities, such as baseball, basketball, cross country, football, golf, lacrosse, soccer, swimming, tennis, water polo, wrestling, and track and field. Additionally, its school store has a wide collection of caps, shirts, gift items, books, T-shirts and children s apparel. Strake Jesuit is a member of the Jesuit Secondary Education Association and National Catholic Educational Association. It is approved by the Texas Catholic Conference Education Department and Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.
