I've been bringing shoes to this little hole in the wall for a long time and always been happy with both the price and the quality--the guy could make a pair of shoes from scratch, I'm sure. I've also left leather purses, with excellent results. He's kind of stern, true (don't park on his parking spot!) but he brings Old Europe's craftsmanship to Houston, for all I know.
