From the staff, to the service, to the food, the uniqueness of the restaurant...everything was outstanding. Definitely delivered a can't get anywhere else experience!

Have heard the advertisements on 740 AM for a long time. Seemed we were always going by the restaurant at the wrong times to eat. Yesterday we were at a good time getting ready to pass the store. We decided to make our first visit for lunch. We were very pleased of the great service and menu selections. We both had a burger. We received what we ordered and everything was very tasty, also filling. The service was great. We will visit in the evening for a steak dinner.

The meal was amazing. The ribeyes were cooked to perfection. My husband had the gumbo as an appetizer and he simply loved it. The waitstaff was very attentive and we were well taken care of (it was our anniversary). The wine list is very complete. I was so full after dinner that I had to take my dessert to go (and it was amazing as well). We will definitely come back for our next special occasion.

Our steaks were perfect, our waiter was outstanding, and of course the dessert (the Oreo-crusted ice cream ball) topped it off perfectly! The atmosphere is comfortable yet upscale, and we enjoy all of the historical flags and paintings each time we go. Having the owner visiting with patrons is always great.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The food was excellent and the historic surroundings makes you feel a part of Texas history.

I was so impressed, we always are looking for new place to enjoy a nice dinner. I was pleased with the food, steak cooked as requested. Our server was very attentive. Look forward to our next visit.

Absolutely splendid experience! From the most professional servers to the delicious dinner...we loved it all! There was no rushing...we were actually allowed to finish our appetizer before the salads came out...what a novel idea! Thank you Steamboat House for making my husband's birthday so special!

Ambiance is always nice. Service was good. Food was good. I love to look at the museum displays. we come here when we want something special.

Excellent first experience. Wonderful atmosphere, curteous staff and excellent food. Owner happened to be at the restaurant spent quite a while with us explaining history of the unique paints and Texas history.

It's been a while between visits and I throughly enjoyed my time. I will be back more often in the future.

the staff was friendly, serve had a great attitude, the food was great and everything seemed clean. I did not got to the restrooms. I'd love to come back.

The staff was very friendly and seated us promptly. It was extremely cold in the serving area and we asked they turn down or off the AC, which they promptly did. Our food was excellent and we enjoyed our meal very much.
