My call was not returned, and when I put in for a prayer request the day before (as previously told to do), it was not honored.

I don't feel like this particular church is there to help spiritually. Other churches receive and honor prayer requests up until the time in service where they're honored.

While I am not a parishioner, I have attended service several times. I will not be going back.



Update: Was asked by a relative to set up for a memorial service at this church. When I finally got a hold of someone at the office (again, message left on answering machine was never returned), I was told that they do memorial services for members only. I guess they think they're a country club, not a church.
