Stay away from this landlord. We only stayed because of the cost and location. We were without hot water for 10 days. She nickel and dimed us on our deposit. We actually paid for the last tenants fireplace usage. We had a leaky roof took her 2 months before she came out or responded. Just be really careful with Space City Management

BEWARE of Space City Management...



If I could give Betty 0 stars I would.



The contract we signed was over 50% illegible.



She has shown to be incompetent at handling our money since the contract was signed in July, after only 3 months.



She set our rent at $1225, when it was $1250 on the lease agreement and I had to contact her and request the money owed.



She neglected to contact us and tell us that the tenant believes they are not responsible for any repair fees, including the $75 for the handyman visit which is paid every time per the contract, and just took that money from us without our knowledge.



She was told 2 weeks before September rent was due on the 1st that our mortgage is due on the 1st and the grace period is over on the 10th. She stated verbally that she would make note that it needed to be deposited by the 7th giving it three days to clear the bank, instead it was deposited it "late evening" on Sunday the 8th.



These are all unacceptable. She violated our trust, making it impossible for us to feel secure allowing her to further manage our property.



If we don't monitor our bank account who knows how much owed money she would neglect to give us.

Slow communication, did not visit the property. Refuses to walk the property with you at the end of the lease. Property has been cleaned and landscaped at the end of the leas, but the land lord still deducted for those services from the deposit. To get the deposit back took longer than agreed time-frame. Once asked about reasons for deductions, Betty stayed silent. No response whatsoever to multiple requests.

Would not recommend this landlord.
