When I first heard about S.E.A.R.C.H. I was highly enthusiastic, and I still am. This gives homeless people a chance to train for and find a suitable job. Lunch is served for a limited number of homeless people every day by compassionate volunteers, some of whom do the cooking. Computer classes start many off to a modern career, and while there are no sheltered living facilities, SEARCH helps find homes for those on their way to entering the mainstream. This facilities offers laundry, phone and hygienic facilities. It was started before the days of cell phones, so the homeless individual applying for jobs could receive call backs at SEARCH. It is my favorite philanthropic opportunity for those who say "What can I do?" SEARCH will do it for us, with skill and enthusiasm.
