I will advise all women to NOT purchase your hair from Moe Lancaster. I went to Moe after being referred by my cousin. I purchased expensive hair from Moe for $300, my 1st time ever spending this much on hair, expecting the hair to last at least a year. I would never buy hair for $300 if it didn't last for at least 6 months. Anyway, the hair only lasted 6 weeks, it has shed SOOOOO much. After 6 weeks I scheduled an appointment to have my hair washed by Moe. I get there and am told that Moe is out for surgery, and won't be back until April 7th. Fine, who else can wash my hair? So Moe's assistant washed my hair, the entire time she's asking why it is so tangled, and asked if I did anything to the hair. I had to repeatedly tell her NO, I put nothing on the hair and took care of it as Moe told me. After washing my hair Moe's asst began combing the hair out, and sooo much of my hair came out. It was her asst who actually told me that I had a BAD batch of hair and needed to contact Moe to show her a picture of how much hair came out. Her asst also told me that Moe gave her a bad batch of hair, but "made it right" and gave her new hair. So, after being advised and encouraged to contact Moe, I called her the following Wed. attempting to be considerate and allow her more time to recover from her surgery.



From the moment I said hello she was defensive, and repeated that she did not remember me. She looked it up in her system and saw that I had come and paid $425 six weeks prior. However, she adamantly said that it was my fault and something I had to have done. She repeated that if I bought hair from a beauty supply store that they would not give me my money back. This may be true, but if they guaranteed that the hair would last a certain amount of time I think they would give a better discount than $50. So after Moe repeatedly compared herself to beauty supply stores that have been ripping off people for years, she offered a $50 discount on some new hair. I'm thinking I can get hair for $250 from anywhere, why would I buy more hair from someone who doesn't stand behind their product and initially sold be bad hair. Additionally, your asst and another customer told me about buying bad hair from you, after I went to Moe. If I could give 0 stars I would. But for your own good, DO NOT BUY HAIR from Moe! She does not stand behind her product, and when you call her to question the hair, she will treat you as if you are crazy and she doesn't even know who you are. Save your time and money, and DO NOT GO TO MOE!
