my daughter dislocated her kneecap while dancing. I'm an ER nurse but when I saw her I panicked and did not know what to do.. thank goodness the dance studio knows about this emergency center. As soon as we got there, we were taken to their beautiful trauma room and the ER nurse and Doctor were both @ my daughters bedside. Xray was done within minutes and the result was back just as fast. We were out of there in under 30 minutes with my daughter in a knee immobilizer and crutches. Being an ER nurse, I am really impressed at the quality and efficiency of their services and how thoughtful and caring they were. I got a call the following day to check on my daughter... now that is what I would call five star service!!

On Friday,May 11, 2012, while visiting my sister in Houston, I experienced severe NSAIDS adverse effects of excruciating abdominal pain and spams; continuous projectile vomiting, dehydration, and blood pressure of 164/114. Within less than five minutes, Pam, the RN on duty, escorted me into an examination room and in the epitome of compassion, empathy, and professionalism, immediately performed a very thorough assessment of my vitals signs; detailed and extensive inquiry pertaining to my current pain, and relevant medical history . Three minutes later, Dr. Mark IM, (ER MD on that day) assessed and evaluated my excruciating abdominal pain and promptly rendered appropriate medical treatment which consisted of: IV fluids,(for dehydration due to excessive projectile vominiting); Lab work (for purpose of obtaining baseline of my electrolytes); and IV medications for abdominal distress, spams, vomiting. I arrived at Sacred Heart 24 Hour Emergency Center at 9:30AM and by 11:30AM was home, resting quietly. In addition, Dr. IM referred me to a GI specialist. I was a RN for 23 years and worked many speciality units, including ER. I am blatantly honest to proclaim that all Emergency Centers, ER, and Urgent Care Centers MUST AT LEAST ATTEMPT TO ACHIEVE THE OUTSTANDING LEVEL of PROFESSIONALISM, INCLUSIVE of RENDERING EMPATHETIC and COMPASSIONATE CARE to ALL THEIR PATIENTS. Therefore, it would behoove other Emergency Centers in Houston to model Sacred Heart 24 Hour Emergency Center. Lucila Leal, School Psychologist

I NEVER write reviews but had just had too after last night!!! My son had an allergic reaction to an antibiotic and broke out in severe hives. We came in to a pleasent environment, kindness, and compassion. Everyone was fantastic and knowledgable. I would reccomend it to anyone, adult or child. My son even was given a toy when he left!

I went in to this facility base on the reviews I read when google to find an ER Center, I was desperate as my symptoms had worsen after I had been diagnose with strep when I went to Concentra Urgent Care a few days prior to find out their diagnose was incorrect. When I got to Sacred Heart the facility was super clean! The sweet nurse Kristi took care of me right away and I was seen by Dr. Mark IM right away he sent out for all the tests necessary to find out I had Pneumonia. If it wasn't for this facility and wonderful professional staff I don't know where I would be today. I highly recommend this place to anyone! It is hard to find good doctors and medical centers that really care about their patients this days!
