absolutely hands down the best steak in houston, i was always loyal to the palm but after coming here i have to say this is now my first choice when i fancy the perfect steak.

My boyfriend and i came by after having drinks across the street at the west end. we sat in the bar and had great service from sierra and the guy bar tender,,, i can't remember his name but they were both absolutely lovely.

definitely 5 stars from me.

I went with my family on March 2nd 2008. I have been before and remember the wonderful steak. The service in the past was good, not "Emeril good" but good. They were extremely slow with drink refills, taking about 40 minutes and asking 3 times for some iced tea. I would think if they were out, it wouldn't take more than 10 minutes to make more. Maybe they had to go down to the store and buy some, I don't know. The after dinner coffee was cold and weak. The steak was wonderful as usual, as were the sides and the wine. It was not a busy night. I am not sure why the service was so poor. If the service wasn't an issue, I'd probably rank this restaurant very good.
