For more than forty years, we are a casual, and "gemuetliches" German-Texan restaurant, that is all about Sausages, Wiener Schnitzel and great German Beer and Wine. During all this time, Rudi has enjoyed a loyal and regular following and makes each visit memorable and personal. The restaurant is for many customers "their home away from home". On the menu there is something for everyone! Our famous Wiener Schnitzels a delicate veal cutlet, breaded and pan-fried, or the selection of grilled Sausages Bratwurst, Knackwurst and Polish Sausage. The very popular Heritage Dinner plate is a sampling of Red Cabbage, Sauerkraut, Austrian Potatoes, Sausages, Roasted Chicken, Pork Loin, Wiener Schnitzel and Sauerbraten. At least once you have to try Rudi's Pork Shank (Eisbein or Schweinshax'n) Enough food to feed even the hungriest Texas Cowboy! For more than forty years, we are a casual, and "gemuetliches" German-Texan restaurant, that is all about Sausages, Wiener Schnitzel and great German Beer and Wine. Had the chicken schnitzel with mashed potatoes last night - not good at all! The chicken was greasy and the potatoes were instant and had the flavor of wallpaper paste. Won't be returning and this was my third try.

Good Solid German Food

It's not for everybody but if you need food that sticks to your ribs all day this is the spot.
Try the German Sampler Platter to try a little bit of everything or go for the Goulash.
And have a beer.
Wait staff are very friendly even if they all look stupid in their costumes (and the German music does wear me down after a while).

A hidden gem!

What a great German restaurant! Latkes (Potato Pancakes) and sausages nothing could be better, except the friendly service and generous and modestly priced dishes. I'm anti-cabbage, but you couldn't find a drop left of the warm red cabbage side (tender and mildly sweet). This is definitely a place I'd take friends and family back to. For you beer and ball game fans they have a cozy bar separate from the main dining section just perfect to eat a meal or enjoy a quiet drink with friends.
