I own a total of 5 rental properties, 2 in Houston and 3 in Dallas and highly recomend Residential Leasing Management to any home owner looking for quality customer service and attention. My homes always lease within days of vacancy and most tenats are long term. Along with great pricing on management fees, the personal attention myself and my homes receive is exceptional.

We have used Residential Leasing & Management for more than 7 years to manage 3 single family rentals in the Houston area and 3 in the Dallas area. We have found that they search for the best qualified tenants, have always reviewed potential tenants with us before they make a final selection and have always been available for questions, comments and the like. Matt, the president and owner of the company appears to be personally involved with daily activity and has always been available for us, even after hours. Leasing has been fast and all but one of the tenants they secured have stayed for more than 3 years each (the other was for 2 1/2 years). We would recommend this company to any prospective property owner or tenant seeking a first class company at very affordable management, leasing and repair rates.

Horrible company - No transparency or communication

Superior Leasing & Management Corp. is also known as Residential Leasing & Management Corp. Both are owned by president Matt Griffin. An online search of "review residential leasing and management" reveals several websites with overwhelming negative reviews of this company both from property owners and tenants. Additionally, this company has an "F" rating from the BBB and has multiple complaints from consumers.



I hired this company to manage my rental property. A third company owned by Matt Griffin, Ideal Realty, (managed by his wife) was used to find a new tenant. I was promised constant updates and thorough tenant screening. In reality, I had to initiate ALL communications for any updates on a new tenant. They ended up approving the first person that applied. The tenant was selected without my approval nor showing me any of the screening materials. The tenant's horrible credit report was only shown to me WEEKS after move-in and constant requests on my part. Also, A CRIMINAL CHECK WAS NOT DONE. The tenant committed several crimes in my property during tenancy including damage, theft, and identity fraud. I later learned the tenant had a long criminal history. The tenant ended up damaging and abandoning my property. I blame my thousands of dollars in damage/loss of property and income on this company, but with no tenant screening criteria in writing I can't pursue legal action.



Additionally, the tenant was not paying rent on time. Late fees were never fully collected or not collected at all from the tenant, yet I was charged $35 for each eviction letter sent to the tenant. After raising this issue, I was promised a refund of these fees, but never received them.



Avoid this company! Based on my experience this company does the bare minimum, has little transparency, is poor at communicating with clients, has a low standard of business, and does NOT represent their clients' best interests.
