Omg I'm from Louisiana & I was sooo thrilled to find a place that sells the best boudin I taste in Texas! Their homemade sausage is to for for!! Try the jalapeño & cheese homemade sausage! Put dem on a grill....OMG!!! Their prices are very reasonable!!! Feels like home again!!!

THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST PLACE FOR MEATS ON THE SOUTHSIDE OF HOUSTON. THE PLACE IS VERY CLEAN AND THE STAFF IS FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. THE ONLY REASON IT IS NOT FIVE STAR IS THAT THE STAFF HAS A HARD TIME KEEPING UP THE PRODUCTS WITH THE CONTINOUS FLOW OF CUSTOMERS !!!

I find Pyburns to be the best place on the southwest side to get fresh made Louisiana boudain and fresh cut meat in the meat market. I frequent the place specifically for the boudain but enjoy the Cajun homemade sausages as well.

Many times I've bought items from here just to find out after I got home the exp date was anywhere from a week ago to six months ago.I now check all dates on anything I buy @ Pyburns.Also will never buy meat because of all the flies in and around meat counter.
