- [ ] My family's Texas Lacy dog will make a full recovery, your pet may not be so lucky. We have used their services for about 2 years now and until this week's experience would have rated a 5/5. The staff is great and very caring for the animals, but I can't say the same for the manager and owners. The aloof response of the manager and absent response of the owner after an aggressive dog attack at the establishment, has left me disappointed to say the least. The attacking dog was known to the manager to be aggressive by her own admission and has attacked other pets at this facility in the past. The injury sustained required emergency surgery to stop the bleeding and repair the muscle torn away from the bone on the front shoulder. I haven't received the phone call from the business owner that I asked to speak with and was told would contact me. I'm left wondering if they know what goes on in the franchise or just don't care as long as the money rolls in. Please READ the entire "contract" you sign when leaving your pet, it clearly states they are NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANYTHING that may happen to your pet in their care. The manager will eagerly provide a copy for you to review and point out this section as she did us if anything happens to your pet. I asked for the medical expenses to be covered since the negligent act of the manager creating the environment by allowing the aggressive dog to interact with the other pets. In the end $250 of the medical expense was paid to the vet by the business and that days daycare fee refunded. I guess for this business doing the right thing was just too much to ask!!! The owner of the other dog contacted the vet office and paid the remaining balance for which I am grateful. They have lost a loyal customer. I hope you find a safe place to trust with your pet and can avoid something similar happening to them.

Preppy Pet is a great place to take your pet. The staff is very caring and friendly. The dogs all seem to be very happy. The prices are great!!
