We got the run around on each call - no one would ever call us back.

Ash the sales manager - terrible sales person



Drove up there to purchase RV - Ash would not even see us til we asked for him, then he gave us someone else.



We bought 2010 Class A. Loved the motor-home but got 65 miles down the road - huge blow out - did a lot a damaged to the motor-home - had to be towed.



To find out the tires were purchased in 2008 and to find the HARD way you should replace your tires every 5 years. That is the good advice you would expect to get from a salesman instead of the tires look great.



Every tire has a date -FYI- RV dealerships know this but we did not. This was our first motor-home and I am so grateful we are OK.



We were on the side of the road for 11 hours and 24 hours later we got to go home.



We started calling PPL - again NO call back!!!!!!!!! They care less.

Horrible service, false advertising

Went to look at an RV that was said to be in very good condition online but was rusted, paint bubbling off, torn to pieces canopy, and a moldy fridge from not being cleaned. Not only were we disappointed on the condition of the RV but were treated very poorly as well. Worst customer service I have ever recieved. Even if the RV was in good shape, I wouldn't buy it from them just because of their lack of friendly customer service. Huge disappointment!

I needed to replace a burned up RV converter charger. I ordered an Inteli-Power 9200 series model. PPL s price was $150 less than other dealers. I ordered it one day and received it the next day by UPS for $9.99 shipping. The unit was easy to install with clear and precise instructions. I will definitely shop PPL for future RV needs.

My travel trailer tong jack broke in half. I was stranded and could not move or lift my trailer. In a hurry, I shopped around for for a newer, more powerfull jack and found one at PPL Motor Homes. I placed my order online and then called the parts department and explained my situation. The parts department sales rep/ lady told me she will ship same day. Sure enough, the jack arrived two days before scheduled delivery date. What a big relieve that was and I really appreciate the great customer service of PPL motorhomes staff.

lots of choices. talked with a salesman one day, nice guy, answered all our questions and was honest with the answers about the motor home. went back with the intention of buying, and it was pretty close to closing time. the salesman ignored us until i spoke to him, and he was curt and had his face angry. evidently you get to go home 30 minutes before closing time at ppl.

we drove 180 miles to get there. not a good experience.

Completely satisified with PPL

We bought our trailer from PPL a few years ago and now we've bought our motorhome from them, too. When we bought our trailer, we picked it out on their website. I was apprehensive at first about buying a used RV, but I had them inspect if first. Almost three years later, everything still worked great. We were planning to take it back to PPL to trade it in or have them sell it but my wife's nephew borrowed it from us to live in after the hurricane and it looks like we'll never get it back!!



A couple of months ago we went back to PPL and bought our first motorhome. It is exactly what we were looking for and so far it we just love it. I recommend them to anyone who wants to buy a trailer or a motorhome.

Don't Believe What They Say

I am not unhappy with the price or condition of the used RV we bought. My problem is with Ken Williams, the Director of Parts & Service. We had a minor mechanical problem shortly after paying cash and driving off the lot. We had to have a 30' RV towed and didn't have a clue who to call. Long story short, Ken Williams offered to pay the tow fee to have our RV towed. I didn't ask for anything; he volunteered. Very nice of him but he never sent the check. I kept checking back with him and got the "check was mailed...let me follow up....blah, blah, blah." Months have passed and he continues with the "we had a hurricane" (really??? No kidding) "the check was mailed..."



I'm not sure what his problem is but he isn't above lying to you and acting like he wants to keep your business and improve the image of PPL Motorhomes. I will never return and plan on telling everyone I know what I think of this company. Seriously, why lie? They had our money, they don't care if you go up in flames outside their gate so why drag this out when all he had to do was take my complaint and move on.

Honest Dealer?

After searching the Internet for weeks, we finally found what we wanted at PPL Motor Homes. The only problem was that we are in Ga. and PPL is in TX. I had only looked at their page out of curiosity to see if the prices were any better in that area than in the southeast.

I checked their ratings and they were very good. I called and talked to a salesman. That man went to the RV I was interested in, looked it over and called me back.

He told me all the good things and then..... he told me all the things that were wrong. An honest dealer? Really?

He explained their RV Checkout policy (very thorough and worth the money).

My husband and I talked it over and he left for Houston that night. When he arrived and looked at the RV, it was just as the salesman had told us. The good and the bad. The only problem that occurred was that he saw another that he liked better.

We bought it. During the 3 day checkout they found a problem with the propane tank valve and it was repaired at no cost to us. They check everything that pertains to a self-contained unit. They fill all holding tanks and look for leaks, check the propane tank, etc. They do not check the engine and outside lights and I recommend, when buying any vehicle, having a mechanic check those things. Cheap insurance.



Bottom line.. it was well worth the trip. We got an RV we love at a reasonable price, with no unpleasant surprises on the way home. Everyone at PPL was courteous, patient and helpful.



An honest dealer? YES!
