02/22/2008 @ approx. 8:30am I proceeded to sales counter to pay for my gas, I counted to the clerk what I had which was $12.00 to put for gas, when I return to pump my gas, the meter stops at $11.00. Now I know that $1.00 is just One Dollar, but come on folks the fact remains that gas is NOT CHEEP at this time. I went back to the counter to inform the clerk, who was a Caucasian lady with bushy long light salt and pepper hair, with glasses that sounded like she had a heavy accent like from Russia or something. But after telling her what happened, all of a sudden she got irate and argued to me telling me that I only gave her $11.00 dollars and that I must have dropped the other dollar on the floor or something, she didn’t even offer to count her register to make sure. I just asked her for her supervisor’s number and she said she didn't have a number to give nor she was going to give any number because she was the owner. I just told her that’s fine, and yes because I was angry for poor service, I probably shouldn't have but I did call her a couple choice words and that I will call the BBB and report her establishment. So everyone be very careful and if you have cash, make very well sure that the sales clerk is well aware of the amount you have and count it in front of her or him because if don't they will short change you if they can. This sort of thing I know is maybe silly to argue about; but, it makes me very angry that someone will try to cheat you just for a buck, when I really need is gas! It’s crazy!! This world is really become a mad world!
