Yesterday I took 2 dogs to “The Pet’s Play Place” to be groomed. I was to pick them up about 1:30. At approximately 1:00 they called and said they had some problems with the older dog and I should pick the dogs up about 2:30. When I picked the dogs up, I asked what the problem was and was told that it wasn’t really my dogs but the dog before mine.
When I got my dogs home, I realized that the younger dog was limping and trying not to put weight on her right front leg. I called “The Pet’s Play Place” and asked what happened. I was told that nothing had happened.
When I picked the dog up to examine her more closely, she bit me. The dog has never bitten me or anyone else in the 6 years I have owned her. I took her to the vets. The vet examined her closely, said it was probably a soft tissue injury and put her on crate rest and pain meds. I called “ The Pet’s Play Place” the woman started screaming at me over the phone. “Are you calling me a liar?” Even today, with pain meds, this dog is not behaving normally. She is still limping, not putting weight on the leg, and is definitely in pain. I have had this dog groomed at PetsMart before and never had a problem. Something obviously happened but this groomer was not willing to own up to it. I would never trust a dog to their care.

This place was HORRIBLE. We had the worst experience ever at this place. We bought a groupon and scheduled our day/time. We schedule additional service for our dog to be groomed and cut also. We arrived 15 min earlier than our scheduled time and they said they did not have enough time to groom/cut our maltese and they just did the basics, we made another appointment for the following Saturday for grooming/cut and we showed up and they did not have my dog on the list. The lady (her husand is the owner) was SO RUDE and Mean to us, stating that we were not scheduled and it was for the following Saturday. When I told her I had an appointment for that day she started yelling at me in front on my two little daughters which was very uncomfortable and VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. This place is very unorganized and the customer service is POOR and I would NOT recommend this place to anyone. We were going to spend additional money here for additional service and the lady never apologized and was screaming at us. This was uncalled for and especially infront of children. PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE as just imagine how they treat the animals.
