I called On Time Electric this morning to repair some issues I was having with electrical outlets in my kitchen and bathroom.

The person I spoke with on the phone told me that they charge a $59 trip charge and when the electrician arrives they will diagnose the problem and give me a price for the repairs. I agreed and scheduled a meeting.

When the On Time electrician arrived I told him what was happening and he prepared a proposal for $229 (without really looking at anything) which he said would be for doing the diagnosis and then he would give me a price for doing the repairs. I explained to him that the person I spoke with on the phone earlier told me that they would do the diagnosis and then give me a price for the repairs and never told me they would charge for the diagnosis. He then told me that is just the way it is.

Needless to say I wrote him a check for $59 and asked him to leave. I then called the main office number and explained the issues with them and they said they would have a manager call me.

About 30 minutes later I received a voice mail message from John Garbowski (I assume the owner). In his message he stated I was misguided and they never told me that the $59 would cover all of the repairs which I never said in the first place. I then called John back and when I told him who I was he abrubtly stated that he saw my review on Google and he was calling his attorney. He then called me an "a**hole" and hung up on me. I tried to call him back a few times to explain my complaint but he did not answer his phone.

Luckily, the next electrician I called was able to come out within a few hours and repaired the electric issues for a total cost of $80.00. So even with the $59 trip charge I paid On Time and the $80 for the other electrician I still paid nearly $100 less then what I would of ended up paying these guys for a diagnostic test..

In closing, I feel like the intial person I spoke with at On Time misrepresented the charges to me and based on my short and very unprofessional experience with the owner I would highly recommend anyone considering using this company do their due dilligence before doing so.

I would not recommend this group. Although they show up ontime, they skim the deal. We had a breaker that kept kicking. When we ask them to review it, they wanted us to pay $600 to upgrade. Not knowing any difference, we did. Turns out, the breaker still kicks. We called back, they said it was grounding and charged for re-grounding the job they installed in the first place. Unfortunately, the breaker kicked again. On their third visit, they took the grounding off and said it would be ok. Unfortunately, this is still happening and we are now getting threatened by new owners that the electric is bad. Thanks for the exposure ontime electric.

To make matters worse, before we knew that they did not fix the problem, we asked for a quote on some work at our new house. They gave us a quote and stated they could do it in a week. We agreed and secured the deal with $300 dollars. After securing the deal, the installation time shows up, the electrician stated that he could not do the work for the "signed documented agreed upon value". As a result, we did not continue. One month passes, we were not refunded $300. We called. We were told they would refund $225 but keep the charge for coming out to give us a quote. This is unbelievable. I would not recommend this group.

I had an On Time Electric electrician come out to provide an estimate for some work. He started out telling me my house was not grounded, which it is. He informed me how hard it would be to run a line from the attic and gave me four quotes, each one adding about 1K dollars. If I did all the work, he would charge me the third quote, with a wink, like he was doing me a favor. Another electrician from a different company came out and fixed one of the problems while assessing the situation. If you want to be overcharged for doing work that does not need to be done, then choose this company.

The person that answered my initial call was kind and listened to me about my electrical problem. On time came to my place this morning to check out electrical problem.. Forgot the tech name but from invoice MCAV001. He was very professional polite.. On time prices was a lot better than other places I had called.. I am so glad that I found this company I will highly recommend this company..

On Time Electric has moved to 3012 Canal Houston 77003. We used them to work on our rental property and liked the service so much, we bought the company!

Called OnTime Electric out to a house we wanted to buy. We had a narrow window of time to be there, and the OnTime guy made it. He had the solution to our problem--Alumacon to eliminate the fire hazard from aluminum wiring. When we called back to have the work done, it was a two-day job. Ernest, the second guy, showed up on time both days, saw the job was even more extensive, but stuck with the original quote, and got the work done great. We're now enjoying our new place.

Hats off to On Time! Power just came back on and we are happy as can be. Price was ok too.

Good service and a good price. Spoke with Brittany and she was very pleasant. Ron showed up ontime, like their name and did the job in a short time and it did not cost me an arm and a leg.

Really great to work with this company. I had several small jobs to do 'honey do's' and several of them involved electrical work. I called universal and mistersparky and ontime.

Ontime was by far and away the best price and the work was outstanding. If you need a good electrical contractor, I would recommend Ontime.

Showed up just like their name, OnTime. Price was very competitive and they did a great job ,completed in a timely manner and were very pleasant to work with. Highly recommended.

BEWARE AND BE READY TO PAY $1000.00hr LABOR

I called On Time Electric to replace a 250v 60amp three phase disconnect that went to my ac unit I had checked the total for parts at a local electric supply was 222.00 and the job calls for less then an hour of labor I was quoted $1249.00 by On Time Electric when I asked why so much he said because of the insurance but could not explain what the insurance was called another company the replaced it for me for 1 hour labor $75.00 Don't wast your time with this business

When I called Ontime the receptionist was very helpful and got the appointment to a two hour window, after I pick up my kids from school, which was a real plus. The man they sent out, Kory was very polite and professional., but most important he explained the situation to me and showed me what was going on with the wiring, and why it was bad.

I knew I had a problem, but just not how serious. Kory and Ontime went to work right away and got me an emergency hook up so we had power on before nightfall. Thanks again, I will refer you to all!

I had the worst experience with this compnay, how do you schedule and appointment and not even have an electrician scheduled. I even called to verify twice, what a waste of time and I would not reccomend to anyone.
