Poor Service. I try to avoid going there but because it's so close to my home, I find it the quickest option. There is young stalky Hispanic man by the name of Mario who lacks customer consideration or skills for that matter. The times I go, I am left feeling challenged and upset by this young man. For instance, I once walked up to a sharpie pen display (that had a testing area with no paper) and a voice yells out "please do not touch the pens ma'am'. I am 34 years old and this young man talks to me as if I am some sort of delinquent teenager. There have been many instances where this man uses his seniority or leadership in a way that doesn't compliment the integrity of Office Depots customer service. Today I went with my husband there with the intentions of getting a new charger for my Nikon Camera. The store seemed pretty empty and we were told that someone would be with us shortly. WE asked for help because we weren't sure which charger would be compatible with my camera. After waiting quite a while, here comes Mario. Before he got to us, my husband accidentally set of an alarm after picking up a camera that was on display. We thought Mario was coming to help us. Instead he utters under his breath, tries to cut off the alarm and when he can't do so successfully, he instructs my husband and I to not touch any of the cameras. A man walks up to him, and Mario tends to this customer instead. Ten minutes later, he comes back to us and asked what we needed. I ask him if a charger I had selected would be a match. He answers that he doesn't know and when we asked if he could find out he abruptly says no and walks away. Very rude and improper. If I want good service, I know now without a doubt that I should go in the morning, not in the afternoon. This young man holds the key to the atmosphere being so negative at this location. Its no wonder this place is always empty.
