Lucie Novotny and Novotny & Co. are incredibly dishonest. I was within ear shot of one of the Novotny reps when they sat down with the Harris County Tax Assesor to review real estate tax appeals for 11 different home owners. The Novotny Rep joked "Do you think we can get through all 12 in less than 15 minutes?". The Harris County Tax Appraiser said "...I hope so. It depends on how difficult you are going to be.". The Novotny Rep proposed Harris County agree to lower the assessments by 25% for each home owner. The Harris County rep responded by stating she could agree to 15%. They both agreed on 17% and the meeting was over. Novotny is not trying to get the homeowner the lowest valuation. They are trying to process as many as possible with the least amount of effort.

I used to work for Novotny & Company and it was the worst job ever! They don't treat their employees equally, make employees cry and talk down on their employees. When I started working there I thought it was hectic because of the season but then it kept going on and on. THEY NEVER COMMUNICATE WITH ONE ANOTHER! I will never work there ever again nor will I ever recommend them to anyone.
