i purchased a car from northside lexus, tx, all contracts have been signed. was waiting to pick up car on 01/05/10, they were keeping car to tint windows. that morning the finance manager called and said he messed up and over looked some things on my credit, and he is having problems getting me financed now. not my problem. the deal is done and a have the signed sales contract with all signatures on it. they are now refusing me to pick up my car. i have contacted an attorney and i am told they dont have a leg to stand on, that the deal was done on my end. buyers beware. i am taking this matter to court. they are giving me the run around, because they just don't want to have to absorb the costs on there end from there mistakes. don't buy from northside lexus.

My wife bought her used Lexus from Northside, and has had problems with their service for the last year (2007-2008). First, they repaired the car after an accident and told her that it had been in a major accident before. However, that information was never disclosed at the time she bought the car. Second, their repair was poor and dangerous. The pin stabilizing the steering arm had been severed and the bracket was bent, but they never repaired this part. Had my wife swerved to avoid an accident, one wheel may not have responded and the car could have rolled. When we asked them to fix their mistake they claimed it was not their fault, despite the fact that they are the only people who have ever done repairs on the car. I had to complain to management about the poor service and threaten to move up to corporate in order to get them to take any responsibility for thier work.
