Provided by YP.comOur 2010 Suburban would not start and had no electric power. A volt meter reading indicated the battery had 12.6 volts and was fine. “Clint”, at Norman Frede said the charge would be $100 to have the vehicle towed to them, even though the distance was less than 10 miles. Considering I was attempting to give them my business, I was disappointed that they wanted to make money on the towing. I just think that shows little compassion and speaks of a greater love for money than for people. After getting the car towed there around 8 AM, I was contacted by Clint a few hours later and told the battery cable was bad and the main fuse had blown, and the cost for this extremely minor repair would be over $400!! While the battery cable was covered by my extended warranty, the fuse wasn’t, so my out of pocket expense of $260 was basically for a fuse replacement!
Then very late in the day, I was informed by Clint that we might not be able to pick up our car that day because MasterTech (my warranty provider) had not paid Norman Frede yet. This lead me to believe that the delay was due to the warranty company being non-responsive, so I called MasterTech and spoke to the same person who had dealt directly with Clint and I was informed that Clint had not even sent over the request for payment until 4:30 PM! Once it was received, MasterTech sent payment back at exactly 4:32!
I find it a bitter insult that for giving my business to Norman Frede, I was grossly over charged and put at risk of losing the use of my vehicle for another day. Clearly, Clint did not deal with me in good faith. Nor did he perform his job with the minimum acceptable level of professional due diligence. That experience is enough to ensure that Norman Frede will never see my business again. It’s also enough to ensure that I will share this story with my family, friends, co-workers, and neighbors, not out of spite, but to help prevent others from being taken advantage of as I was.

Provided by YP.comI bought a truck from this dealership and this is my bad experience with them and I dont care that they know its me who wrote it and Im going to call them out by name! My original Salesman was Dan Schlichting and I feel that the dealership is in such deparate need to make a sale that they didnt care that when they sold me the truck that #1 As long as the truck was working properly when it left their lot they got their money because it hadnt been even 4 months before I was replacing the battery! So me being a woman not knowing that the original battery in a car or truck usually lasts up to 2 to 2 and a half years! So they sold me a truck that I had to wind up paying $300 dollars to get it towed from my house back to their dealership just for them to tell me that it wasnt covered under warranty! Surprise, Surprise! Imagine that! I was livid because they had to know this before they sold me this truck and #2 While it was the truck was at their dealership service station I advised the Service Manager or Whomever it was that was handling my issue that there was also condensation and water dripping on my foot when I was on the highway driving for 3hrs! And Surprise, Surprise they coud'nt find any problems! Imangine that And #3 I keep losing air pressure in my suppose to be brand new tires! And what made me upset the most is 2 things and 1 is they sold me a truck wich the registration & the inspection expires in Dec and Jan and I just got the truck in May! When I traded in my Cadillac and also put a down payment my car had a whole year before the inspection was going to expire! So they got me on that also and then another Salesman from their office called me to attempt to sell me another car and I was like I just bought a truck from you all in May! U all dont communicate with one another and the left hand doesnt know what the right hand is doing! Now let me tell u about Mo real name Mueen Shurafa he pretended to care about these concerns and tried to put in in a different truck which he tried to put me in a 2007 and I have a 2008 and then when he did find a truck to my satisfaction he emailed me the truck and asked me if I liked it and I told him yes! Then to my surprise he couldnt get the truck for what ever reason! But then he tried to give them another $3000 for a 2009 truck and I told him that I didnt have anymore money and I just wanted to be treated failry as a woman and I believe that not only did they not appreciate my business all they Mo wanted was to try and make another deal off of me and when that wasnt going to happen they basically just disregarded me and my feelings! I never got a Thank You from them by mail for my business and they did nothing to rectify the costs that I have incurred since buying the truck and not even having it for a good six months! Thanks for nothing Norman Frede Chevrolet! I will never bring back my truck to your dealership nor will I ever refer anyone to your dealership!
